Bristol would be ideal........ but choose your location carefully....... lol...... there is nothing wrong with Cardiff..... but its a complete swine to drive round finding directions.... lol..... a severe lack of road signs.... lol

Fancy dress is a ball-ache, and, let's be honest, we are pretty damn fancy as it is!
Taxi driver taking 4 of us to the Plymouth-gate venue "Oh, you're the third lot in fancy dress I've driven, tonight"

Rather you than me mate, I've done one return trip by plane since reaching adulthood and decided that cramming myself into an aircraft seat again, especially on a small aircraft, isn't going to happen for anyone.

Right then-the munch will be in Bristol smile

I am on the case for a venue but everywhere I have tried so far seems to have comedy acts in the function rooms on the Saturday night confused

I may have to change the date to the Friday but will keep trying to get the Saturday.

I've done it by train a couple of months ago. Newcastle to Bristol is a five hour journey, not for the faint hearted. Virgin do do cheap first class tickets if you book in advance though, it cost me Â£30 each way, less than a normal standard class ticket.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the invite. We will definately be up for anything that can go on down this way.
So that's a two from us, and we look forward to meeting everyone in the flesh, so to speak.
I've got Karaoke (professional stuff) if that helps with the entertainment a bit. I wouldn't want to be stuck on it all night, but could work it in well with a DJ.

Hang on folks! This, I don't think is the formal invite from BWM to the munch. There'll be a thread in the LMU fer that later and some clear criteria for whether you qualify or not - length of membership and number of posts etc, I guess will count.
Sorry BWM, if I'm interfering but wouldn't want people's expectations to be too excited.
