Have to agree with you wonderhorse except for one thing...
I think that chelsea's money will eventually turn into thir achilles heel. It them into a barca or real, where the players get too comfy on their big fat wallets and forget what they get paid for... as yet that has been man u's biggest saving grace, that very few of their players are on mega mega money...
By my reckoning (and i could be very wrong) there is only Ferdinand and perhaps Rooney and Ronaldo on over 100,000 a week which explains why there is so much competition for places there.
Besides sometimes you can get great players on the cheep... look at sami what was he when we bought him? At his prime we could have sold him for ten times that...
My! a thread i can actually say something in that's meaningful? well maybe?
Credit where it's due...United are champions because they won the most points, well done,
Firstly, this win isn't half as big as the next one if my beloved Liverpool don't get one in first, it has long been feries ambition to as he supposidly stated he "was gunna knock Liverpool of thier perch" isn't it wonderful for LFC to have the admiration of a man u manager? he want to match or better us..
Chelsea, unlucky, but then again... the final isn't done with yet, i doubt the result will go any other way than Chelsea's simply because money talks.... think about it..
Arsenal; well what can anyone say but what a great manager, tactician and talent spotter..
there day will come in the big cup, but i fear for their imediate plans,
Liverpool MY team, i worry, DIC? i wonder? think back; as i understand it didn't moores n parry pull out of the deal with them because DIC were simply going to use the club as an investment vehicle? i recall re sale was already fixed on 2015?, the way i see it and this applies to all four big clubs is finding new owners will become increasingly hard based upon my thinking that football isn't firstly about making money but about football and the "kudos"? that goes with ownership
I remember seeing an article on the a little while ago saying football was almost at it's peak?
Even more worrying for all european fans is that "if football caught the imagination of the American public; all the worlds big names would be there, this would leave football in europe generally of poorer quaility" you could easily say goodbye to the likes of ronaldo, adebayor messi gerrard drogba and such likes?
anyway my thinking....
j wally
fuck football.
Get a life.
Jealousy is a wasted emotion!!!!!
