I found the youngest ones baby book the other day and have discovered that I'm 3 lbs heavier now than I was at 9months and he was a 10lber and I was humongous
At 7.5 months I was enormous .....

..and by the way, if your avatar is a recent you, why are you bothering? I think I'd be very delighted to look like that, I'd probably never put my clothes on! I mean stay in control by all means, but I think I had in mind people a bit more needy than your goodself!! mad

And anyway, I saw a bandwagon coming and fancied a ride!

The bump got bigger :(
Now you know exactly WHY I have body confidence issues :(
I was 8 st prior to this pregnancy .....
Calista.. thats a pretty impressive bump!!!!!
Although I just gotta say you looked absolutely gorgeous last time I saw you!!!!
I'm definately going back on a healthy eating plan after Christmas.
I did loose a bit of weight earlier this year but have piled it all back on again. I've always been big and always will be but I'd like to be a couple of stone lighter than I am now. So I'd definately be willing to join in with a SH weigh in.
Count us in. Was doing well until a recent trip to the States and now with Christmas fast approaching can see that all that good work will be gone. Look forward to restarting in the New Year with the aim of being ready for that hot beach in the summer

Me too.
When I married I was 7st. Had a 20" waist. I was 23.
Now, I am nearly 35, 10st 11lbs and would not dream of measuring my waist, let alone telling anyone what it measured.
4 weeks ago, I was 11st 7lbs, so I am getting there. Am told my goal weight should be 7.5 st but am aiming at 9.5, meself.

Good for you Vix biggrin
Just mentioned on another thread, I joined WeightWatchers recently to lose about 1 1/2 stone. I'm currently at 12 st 12 lb, & feel much better when I weigh a bit less. If I manage to pass the course I'm on & then start working, I'll need to be careful about my weight, so that's largely why I'm doing it.
Definately need to think about what will be the right diet for me in the new year!!!!! I have so many xmas meals over next couple of weeks its hard to start now. My biggest issue is the smoking ............................... nearly killed another member of staff I work with last night trying to get her to give me a cigarette redface surprisedops:  well it was very late and suddenly I was desperate. She just said NO which I think was very brave of her!!!! hahahahaha

How many bonus points can we earn by vigourous typing? If I hit my 2K post count tonight, I may have to celebrate with 'spending' a few points on pints. OK, am gonna do that anyway... kids are out doing their school play, till about 8pm.

Well I must admit I would die for a pizza.... or at least might be prepared to die AFTER said pizza biggrin :P ... but will refrain  ... (damn, can't find a smug bastard emoticon) but enjoy your beer
However, I'm afraid speed typing is NOT sufficient exercise.... perhaps you need a doctors certificate to excuse you from sports :D :D ... so I'll email you one later....
Off to make dinner.....
Instead of the yummy chicken curry I had intended to make, I'm going to marinate it, grill it and have it with cous-cous!
I'd kill for a bar of chocolate though!!

I was a 32" waist 3 years ago, 36" 2 years ago and hovering about a 34" again now. My belly sticks out too far is all really, oh, that and I'm starting to grow man boobs again!

Are you sure your not typing my posts as well. lol
I'm in :P
Don't start on the diet theme, as a certified foodie, and having read loads of recipe books/nutrition books. I spend alot of time planning the food we all eat and rewriting recipes to make them lower in carbs and fat ! I lost 2 stone and mrs onion 3 1/2 since last feb, things go up and down lol but its mainly the drink
so anyone need a recipe name and I will see if I can help with a "HEALTHY" version
Glad to help
wink
i think i'm about 13 stone, and i'm a size 18, 16 if i go to a nice shop, lol!! i usually do the branflake diet, a bowl of branflakes first thing in the morning, a decent lunch, and another bowl of branflakes right before you go to bed - it's wonderful, you lose about a stone in about 4 weeks!! (it's all the fibre!)

Ahh the high fiber diet...shit yourself thin ! biggrin
Is Jan 3rd the starting date? If so, count me in, please. I'm up for posting/PM-ing my progress too.
At 24, when I fell pregnant I was 8st 4lb and my size 10 jeans were getting a little bit slack on the waist. I've never exercised in my life apart from a couple of months at the gym (out of the 12 month subscription) and I don't intend to start now.
I was just touching 11stone when full-term pregnant. I never looked pregnant, I was just fat. I'd put the weight on all round the middle and had no conspicuous bump.
Shortly after giving birth and having a lovely hot bath, I stepped on the scales and discovered that despite a 6lb 7oz baby, a couple of pounds of placenta and god knows what else that gushed out of me before and during, I'd not lost an single ounce  All I can think is that the scales were fooked or I'd sucked up all the bath water confused
Last year I lost just under a stone in 10 weeks with WW on prescription but I got a bit arrogant with it - started thinking I was OK to have the odd treat here and there and before I knew it I'd piled the stone back and more.
I'm guessing that I'm probably about 11 stone now and I wear a 12 or 14 depending on the shop. Principles are quite generous but Next just skimp on the fabric!
I don't believe in dieting or following any strict regime, counting points, green days, sins and all that bollox. If I had the willpower to stick to something so rigid I wouldn't be a lard-arse in the first place.
My plan is very basic - eat proper meals at a decent time of day. No more day-time starving/night-time binging. No stodgy puddings from the uni canteen, only *one* takeaway or equivalent a week and drink gallons of water.
I'm sure I'll get from this thread at least one comment that I look fine as I am, but as you all know, it's not about how you look, it's how you feel! And I mean feel about yourself not how others feel you!!!! :P
Good luck, everyone!
Its been pointed out to me at work that ive started to put on wieght! so after xmas i'm gonna bug a bottle of jenolite and give my old bike a once over! and start riding to work.
instead of getting taxis

Try going on the F plan diet. It is guaranteed to help you shed loads of pounds throughout the year, and it is fun to do.

I'm not sure whether I should slim down or pig out: Either will do, I just don't like being at that in-between stage where sucking in my guts does actually make a difference. lol
