Compliments

I had a really lovley PM from a member who had looked at my pics on profile yesterday, just to say how lovley and sexy I looked redface

He didnt want a meet, just to pass on a compliment. I have to say it really made my day, as I still am very surprised when people tell me how sexy I am, even after being on SH since may.
I always feel.... I dunno, like I dont deserve them, or that the compliments may not be meant, because a lot of whats said on here is done in banter, and I cant always tell if someoen means it when they say they fancy me or not lol

but i do get a real buzz from it, anyways.
Is it vain, or sad to get such a boost from a stranger paying you a compliment like that, or is it just me being too hard on myself?
This all made sense in my head, but not sure if it will make sense on screen :lol: :lol:

We know where you are coming from Bonedigger as we post our pix on a couple of websites for amateurs where the other members can also leave comments.
It always leaves a nice feeling that someone, somewhere is getting pleasure :rascal: from seeing Mrs SW and that they are prepared to take the time to post a nice message. We don't think it's vain or sad at all, on the contrary it can give a great boost if either of us is feeling a bit down.
Of course, every barrel has its rotten apple and you get the tits too saggy/too fat/too old posters who at first bothered us but they are swiftly moderated into oblivion. It's water off a duck's back with us now in any case.
So keep on taking and posting your pix and revel in the fact that it can bring a smile to a viewer's face and a lump to their trousers!

Awww Mrs B, didnt that just make your day? Of course you deserve them.
I never know in which way to take compliments but I put that down to lack of self confidence. I always think its a wind up but if someone wants to give me a compliment then who am I to argue, someone, somewhere must have good taste :giggle:
Take them in the way they are meant and in the future I will try to take my own advice and do the same :lol:

Dont know if this counts but was in chatroom once n a guy posted this to us, "well your arse has sagged a bit, but i would still shag you".
To be honest we dint take him up on his offer, thought he was laying on the dharm just a bit too thick.

Its not vain and it's not sad. Im sure you deserve it anyway :thumbup:
I like compliments but find them hard to take, not knowing whether they are really meant or not but it does give you a warm glow for a minute or two lol

Just savour the moment, whether you believe them or not.

but im the same i've never took compliments good and tend to think if someone says anything nice about me that they are taking the p@@s dunno

i got a nice one of a couple the other day aswel not wanting a meet or anything just telling us what a sexy couple they thought we were it really does give ur confidence a boost :inlove:

When I was younger, I used to get my fair share of compliments, like people do in their 20s - but because I had zero self esteem, I always assumed they were taking the mick.
Looking at old photos, I can't believe I was so cute -(Am I allowed to say that about myself redface

) I was a 10/12, tall, clear pale skin and dark hair.
But - I KNEW I was the ugliest girl in my town, because that's what I'd been brought up to believe.
20 years and 2 and a half stone later, I know I'm no stunner, I don't think I could be called pretty - but I feel attractive - I feel good about me, and if someone compliments me now, I tend to think, "Yeah, you're right there! lol

and I say "thanks!"

Alot of confidence problems stem from things we are told in childhood
in my family my sister was the beautiful one, my brother was the tall and handsome one and i was the daudy one who was disfigured and because i got told this regularly it had a big effect about how i look at myself now

Cherry I've never met you face to face, but I can only imagine you are beautiful because your personality is!,... to me that makes a beautiful person.
I can understand where your coming from, I too am no model, no oil painting, but I know from compliments I get I 'can' be attractive (in the right light with the right make up :haha: ). Joking aside there are days when I feel kind of attractive and others when I feel yukky, bloated and spotty! name me a woman who doesn't! dunno

I have been told I'm attractive and that my eyes are my winning point and that I have nice legs.
Shame aboooot the rest of me!
