All men and women like to hear things that make them feel good about themselves now and then. It makes us feel wanted and appreciated.
When you are asked how your day went, and they really want to know
When you are told how sexy you are
When you are told you are smarter than anyone else they have been with

By far the highest compliment I've ever been paid is the poem a friend of mine wrote about 18 months ago. It's about our friendship and what it means to her. It's a longish poem and I'm not going to post it, suffice to say whenever I feel unwanted I read it and I know that there's someone who thinks more highly of me than I could ever deserve.
