costs at clubs
There is a club I sometimes go to with friends ( name witheld)

Where I get in for free as a vip guest but only with them as they are paid up members of the said club .
To go on my own would be to get in hence I wouldnt go alone just to expensive ,and would rather spend the ££££££ on fuel to visit someone I know.
clubs have priced themselves out for single guys but can understand the reasoning of the price to disuade non genuine swinger males .

sadly another fact of the rich/poor divide. we have many single male friends who wont try other clubs with us due to the overpriced memberships/entry fees so they stick to the same old same.
its such a shame, but because they can get away with it, due to the ratio of single guys to couples and single girls, then the charges will stand as they are.
it makes an expensive night out if you add all costs, fuel, entry fees, drinks etc.
we as a couple have been put off joining some clubs because of membership charges are high, so we sympathise with the singles here. and what if you pay the membership on first visit and dont like the club?
being better off financially doesnt make someone a better person though, which some narrow minded folk seem to think.
and until the people stop going to clubs and paying up things wont change, and theres more chance of pigs flying too!

Its not just single men who are being ripped off, its men in general, even couples have to pay more if they have a male half present, if anything its the women thats being exploited while the owners rub there hands, brings a new meaning to the phrase, bring something to the party :shock:

No, it seems that people do think that £30 it is alot of money for a guy to spend to get into a Swingers Club like Chameleons.
Last time I went 'out on the town' it cost me the best part of £100, some drunken twat wanted to punch my lights out for some random reason and I felt totally ripped off at the price (and size) of mixers in the nightclub.
£30 is nothing just to be in such a respectful, chilled and sexy environment - ALL DAY LONG !!
Also, pricing is commercially evaluated and much as you/we might want Clubs to be bordering on charitable, the reality is that they are in it for the money and will price accordingly. Our choices are to accept it, or go elsewhere.

Its not about the fact its £30 to get in, its about the fact for a single guy its £30 and yet its about £20 for a couple which is only £10 per person.

Well £30 to the likes of me (unemployed due to redundancy) and even before that(have a soon to be ex wife and a daughter) is a fair chunk of my weekly allowance so yes it is a lot.....
And I wonder just how many that go do actually spend "ALL DAY LONG !!" there and how many can only manage to go for say 3 or 4 hours

supply and demand the clubs set their prices to suit the demand made upon them .. if folk dont like it they dont have to go.. moaning about it on here isnt going to do any good ..vote with your feet , start your own club .. take up a new hobby write to chams or where ever else lol im sure they will be sympathetic and clamp down on fellas getting in with folks that arent really their partners so it balances out the loss of revenue they would get by lowering prices to 10 quid for a person irrespective .. they may even charge more for single girls.. that would be good business sense ..im sure .. imagine a club charging a 30 quid flat rate for everyone,, as opposed to clubs that see it necessary to pay girls to attend ..

Times are changing and its time clubs and other institutions realised this and adjusted prices accordingly....
Even if it was done on maybe 2 nights a week it would be a benefit especially if it was on the clubs 2 quietest nights....
Read the first post again.....what I am commenting on is the differential in costs....not the cost itself. The fact that a guy has to pay 3 times a much as a couple. As I stated..I know only to well it is down to supply and demand...that still doesn't make it right. And yea think people are starting to vote with their feet... which is why a great many people are noticeing the reduction in the amount of single guys attending clubs.
It is noticable that the recent coventry social..which was flat rate of £3 per person, had 145 on the list..and a number on reserve. The ration was not controlled..but I would say was 70% couples...
20% guys and 10% females. Maybe people can see, this is the way forward.

it only costs some single males out of it steve tho .. i have sympathy for those that cant afford to go..we cant afford to go ..we dont whinge about it and expect to get in cheap we just dont go .. who am i .. to dictate what a business chooses as its price structure ? a business will live or die based on it.. i hear chams still has waiting lists for fellas .. no idea how true this is .. but it was saidc in chat only the other night.. so if theres a waiting list and the clubs still fantastic as folk tell me then whats the problem as far as the clubs concerned ..

dean whether it is fair and right is irrelevant the fact remains they can get away woith it because of the demand and as a business they will exploit that demand ..
id like to see all swingers clubs free .. what do i care but it isnt going to happen is it.
