Well summers over , the evenings are getting colder and all the creepy crawlies are moving inside . Every bedtime there is a mass sweep of the kids rooms for spiders and daddy longlegs . 'there was one there , honest' . The thing is , the kids may have a point . There seems more this year , and the spiders seem to be getting bigger. The questions are , are they on the increase ?, are they getting bigger ? , is it a result of global warming , imported bananas from Tesco or just a way for my kids to delay putting the lights out at bedtime ?
Its not the kids or the spiders, its me and cockroaches that are the trouble, they give me the right willies!! bolt
There are some pretty big spiders around just now. Getting fat on all the wasps they've caught!
:scared: :scared: :scared:

I agree with what he said,8 legs on one body just isnt natural :scared:
We have a spider motorway on our bedroom ceiling biggrin
I won't hoover the cobwebs away until I'm sure the spiders have moved into new homes lol   I'd feel far to guilty

I have travelled a lot and come across some real big ba*****s in Oz and Africa etc. but in my opinion unshaven ladies are frightening.... Theres nothing worse than a female with whats known as "spiders legs" sticking out from around the crotch area in her panties biggrin
I'm glad that I'm not the only one to have noticed SPIDERS..........SPIDERS............Everywhere !!!!!!!!!!...............What is a small spider these days.. rolleyes  They have big fat hairy bodies and big fangs, and did you know...... that these little bliters bite.!!!!!!!!...
House spiders don't but I haven't seen them this year, the harvest spiders must have got there first......
Just thought id point out that seeing spiders in your house is a good sign, it means your house is nice and dry, therefore no dampness anywhere, only in your knickers!!
Hate them hate them hate them!
I can't even bring myself to hoover them up in case they crawl back a la Terminator with 12 of their biggest mates in tow. There was one on me ceiling the other day that was so big it had elbows and eyelashes! :eeek:
They're grim and nasty, and, and.... *shiver* and now I'm gonna have nightmares! And I had to shut me eyes and whizz past the pic that JonJon so kindly plastered across the page....
*wanders away from seat on Arachnid Alert, convinced one's following her movements across the room, with all eight of it's evil little eyes*
A big one ran accros my floor the other day and laddo saw it...
He said "arn't you going to kill it or get rid of it?"
I said "No, it kills the blody flys and moths and helps collect the dust in its webs"
<<< hates dusting.... blody womens work... easier to let the cobwebs act as dust filters lol
