have to agree to , the fact uve said that in here undermines u being able to say u are discrete again and the u pulled out the suports by asking if we wanted to know who ,

Some clarification required here methinks ....
This is part of an ongoing tete-a-tete between me and the person concerned..... all done light heartedly. I have no intention of naming anyone that I have a private conversation with in a PM.

ONe of the more stupid questions I have been asked, and like the entry a few above, it was an American tourist...
Standing in the crowd outside Buckingham Palace, penned in by barriers, awaiting the Queen to go past (I worked nearby and was bored so I went to watch, OK!) I found myself in close proximity to an American tourist and her daughter...
Pall Mall is lined with Guardsmen, wearing the full kit including bearskins and armed with rifles and bayonets fixed.
The American tourist turns to me and says, " hey! those knives on the end of the soldiers rifles, .... are they real??? "
To which I replied, sarcastically, " no , it's only the Queen of England, they are plastic..."
