all our pic's are never more than a year old and a lot are very new some are last weekend
As Im sure we all know, we usually choose the pics of ourselves that we like personally. Some are a true reflection of how we look and others not..............I had a pic taken of me after I had my hair straightened and even my sons did double takes!
I would advise you to webcam with your new potential friends if the look thing is important to you.........if they are not willing to cam, then you read into that what you will. :shock: :shock:
On the other hand we have seen people on webcam and then met them soon after in a social setting and they look 10 times better than they did on cam...
Also some people dont have a webcam...

Our pics are all under 3 years old, Mainly because until then we didnt have a digi camera to upload them. But i still look fairly different from the pics compared to my true to life self but not so much that people dont reconise me.
Im on webcam so often than nearly anyone who meets me knows what my webcam face looks like (i look better in real life so ive been told) Ive met people who look loads better/loads worse/or been completely different people to the pics webcams ive seen.
Those who use dated photo's or other peoples pictures obviously feel the need to do so however annoying it may be to others
Our pics are all less than a year old, we up date with some new ones about every three months or so.
We don't mind when people's pics were taken, as long as they still look like them.
It's the lack of pics on people's profiles that are so anoying.
Ask for upto date pics via a mobile phone.
Get them into the chat room, if need be in a passworded room and on cam.
Get them to meet you at a site social.
It's funny someone mentioning the age thing, because we have played with couples all of whom are 35+ but we get some people who won't play with us because they think I am too young, lol - so there you go!

but we wouldn't dream of misleading people with photos years out of date !!
we try and up date our pics as often as possible over the last few months my hair has got longer and the colour different, also i like to show off the new outfits dave has bought for me 
and I feel it.I limit my profile to just 1 but if there is a genuine interest happy to share more.
unless you are below 40 it seems like you are on the scrap heap. But I will persevere and hope that being open and honest will work....it has a couple of times and I have met 2 lovely ladies both in that diffcult 
age group of 45 - 55. tell you what though experience really does count and it is still as good today as when I was a teenager.
