I subscribed to a dating site for a couple of years, & managed to get one girlfriend (who shagged like a bunny rabbit ) & lots mostly of single dates. Women out-numbered men on that site considerably, but it was rather expensive!
I have tried Friends Reunited (which is much cheaper) but without success. At the moment I think that women are not interested in someone who is unemployed (like me), so I won't bother until I'm in work again...... Either that or I'm such an arse, no-one will go out with me. :shock:

Hmmm., the site from which I got more sex than I had had in my entire life was supposedly a dating site - it's shut now, but it was full of men looking for easy sex, and hookers looking for them to pay. It was great for me at the time though

From personal experience dating sites are for single blokes looking to get fucked. They don't tell you that though. Which is why I prefer to meet people here. At least they're honest here about it. But that's not to say meeting anyone on SH is without it's problems either.

Worst site ever is A total waste of time. They send you all these wonderful matches but when you write to the guys you either don't get a reply because they have left the site months ago or they respond to say that you are not what they are looking for. Clever trick of Udate is you can't unsubscribe and get your money back... oh no, once you have paid you might as well have put the money down the bin.

Hi I came across a new site a couple of months ago and have actually had some good responses on it its called , seems like someone out there has for a change used a different concept than the normal boring dating sites.

I used a variety of dating sites in the days before the internet. They were very effective. I think it helped to use hand writing.
I tried Loopylove for a week and got several responses. But they all turned out to be automated replies. (cue the violins). But there is a 'buzz' about it. So there is more of a chance of meeeting someone there right now.

ive browsed several different dating sites but to be honest id say 90% of them want to charge you to reply to adverts or to view the pics,all free to browse tho lol and well being a single guy i know the chances of replies are slim due to more men using these sites so ive never subscribed to any of them

I am on it and it has worked for me. Again, it shares a database with other sites, I think the main one is Passion? But now we're talking more about competitor sites to SH and I'm not sure the powers that be will appreciate that.
while yes we are talking about competitor sites, have you noticed a couple of rather very small diferences between those sites and this site?
thjey all charge a fee and you dont get some nice neat froums to chat thru like we do here at SH. I have used the other sites, since I discovered SH Iwould never use them again
