Not being funny.....but by saying they had 'caught something nasty' did they specify that it was an STD?
maybe they just have a case of man-flu or something similar.......which really isn't that much to worry about, especially as they are saying that they don't want to meet till it's gone.

As a guy I have to say I agree with you. About 8 years ago both my parents broke their collar bones within a year of each other. My Mother whilst in pain carried on as near to normal, but My Father acted as though he was about to die for about a
