I was that bloody frightened watching most haunted last night i not only hid my head under the pillow I lit a candle and started reciting the Lords prayer. I did this until God answered  talk about the release of bodily fluids!! I thought hey up the whole of bloody hell had started in my living room! Luckily I had a book by David Acora in the bathroom as I'd run out of Andrex this helped with the fluids biggrin And i called my mum to get rid of Satan and God because she is scarier!
Ermmm ermmm Sorry it was Derek Acora not his brother David a nice bloke who owns a butchers shop in Abervefenny biggrin
Not sure if you are being at all serious, or totally ironic, but I saw one of the Acorah brothers wink live and it was the biggest pile of pants I've ever seen.
I remember seeing something on the telly years ago, it had Blue Peter's Sarah Greene in it, it was a drama but done as a very realistic documentary about a haunting - that scared the cr*p out of me lol
Derek Acora proven to be a fake by James Randi, check it out.

Me Missus J says she remembers the Sarah Greene thang too and it was scarey! Then she said it was nothing to waking up the day after marrying me in and finding herself in a sober state

I remember watching that I was terrified :scared:
I've seen Derek Acorah on stage and he's shite. I have to admit, as much as I'm into my spiritual stuff and the paranormal, these ghost programmes scare the shit out of me
Saying that, I watched the film 1408 last night :scared:
I think Derek is real , but I am not sure if his hair is fake.................just like a fella i once knew who had a wooden leg but with a real foot
The whole thing is fiction. No need to get scared at all. The "I'm feeling that 2 children died here" rubbish is all researched before-hand or made up and unproveable.
If it was real :
A) they would put fixed cameras overseeing the whole room and we would see the movements and
B) no self-respecting ghost would appear.
The acting is shite and Derek Accora is a flim-flam merchant of the worst kind.
For a bit of fun it passes, as a real investigation into parapsycological (or whatever) events it doesn't.
agree Derek Acorah is a fake of the highest order mad
never watch most haunted cos I cant stand him and believe its all set up....much prefer Dead Famous with Gail Porter its tops!
Derek may have been a fake but at least he was entertaining, it used to be quite funny when he was in it. Now the only entertaining thing are the historian woman's outfits, bet you a fiver she's got a crop and thigh high boots in her dressing room lol

Ive heard that Derek Acorah was rubish and a fake before from someone else and I thought he might be fake anyway before I read this forum, so it came as no shock to me .
The film 1408 was good.

Quite agree with you hell, funniest thing on living tv, specially when yvette screams, and looks like she's just pooed her pants.
Part of the problem with this sort of show is that people know they're in a supposedly haunted house and therefore expect something odd to happen and will put anything unusual down to ghosts. Perhaps they should try several houses, not knowing which, if any, are supposed to be haunted.
I did have what might have been a paranormal experience when I was at college but I can't see how a "soul" could have any physical effect.

was that the thing with the cats and then a chat show host back in the studio?
if so it was done for halloween and was supposed to be a total spoof only people took it seriously and they got loads of complaints. i thought it was great!
whips
I seem to recall the programme was called "Ghostwatch" and had Sarah Green, Mike Smith, Craig Charles and Michael Parkinson presenting it.
It was a spoof "investigation" show on halloween, only people believed it was real. I seem to remember Craig Charles being abducted by spirits (which now seems a good idea) and I can remember "viewers" calling in screeching down the phone to Parky "There's blood coming from my walls!"
Highly entertaining, but even more so for the hysterical reaction. I was babysitting that night and driving home, there were people phoning in the local radio show hysterical and the poor presenter was having to reassure people it was a joke.
As for Most Haunted, at best it is awful. As a means of paranormal investigative science, you are better off watching Scooby Doo.
