i love tatts and body piercings on both male and females. i have got 5 tats they are on my shoulder, around my belly button, on my thigh, ankle and my recent on is my biggest one on the bottom of my back trailing down to the crack of my ass. so they are all hideable when need to be ie for work. they are all femine even my tribal one has some small flowers in it.
chris has four on his arms all above the elbow so they cam be hiden when he is meetings for work ect. he is going to have another one for his b/day in jan acroos the bottom of his back.

I'd be prepared to bet that it's real, it looks weird because it's been done very, very well indeed. That kind of tattoo only really comes off well if it's overlaid on top of the anatomy properly - which pretty much requires good freehand technique and a thorough knowledge of human muscles and articulation.
I showed some stuff like that to Mrs. DP as I was looking for something to go on my leg and was quite tempted by some H.R. Giger inspired designs. She really liked them, which I was somewhat surprised by.

Maybe some cartoon characters have a special place in a persons heart,so a tattoo of said character is the most natural tattoo for that person to have.
Yes I am talking from a personal point of view.I have had my nickname since I was a mere baby,it was my mum who callled me it initially and I love my tattoo!

Thought I'd resurrect this thread in order to pick the collective SH brain a bit.
I'm currently planning my first tattoo - I'm torn between a knee to ankle sleeve on my left leg (possibly extending on to my left foot if I'm feeling brave), or an upper arm sleeve on my left arm extending on to the shoulder. Either way it's probably going to be something fairly dark and not too complex, so it shows up through the fur. I'm very tempted by some of the tribal-style stuff I've seen, possibly with a celtic/norse theme.
At the moment I'm still working on a final design, I may ask my little sister for assistance, after all her degree in Fine Art has to be useful for something. I also need to find a good local tattoo artist. Recommendations by PM are most welcome, if I don't find anywhere I'm comfortable with locally I'll go to see an old aquaintance in Brum, but that's a bit of a trek considering I'll probably need two or three sessions to get it finished.
