Just a thought. Mainly for anyone who offers themselves up for a snog auction, as Vix did at the Notts munch.
What if you did this, then someone put in a successful 'bid' for you and you thought that person was the ugliest person you'd ever seen and you didn't like them either? (even though they obviously want to snog your face off or they wouldn't have bid).

I`d snog them. The SH handshake is very rarely sexual to me (unless it`s with the right person AND they are very good ;)) It`s no more a big deal to me than Trafalgar Square on New Years Eve is...........which is bloody good fun! :mrgreen:

But how do you know if you're any good at kissing? And who teaches you? I think I'm good at kissing some people and crap at kissing others......so maybe it's a compatibility thing.....?
It depends on the person definately but I enjoy kissing with the right person. It can add to the experience. Also nice to kiss over the body! Only my opinion mind!

Kissing is definitely too personal plus most people in my opinion don't know how to kiss properly. I haven't had a good kiss in years but I have had plenty of awful ones:
- guy clashing his teeth against mine
- guy sucking the life out of me to the point I had to hurt him to make him release me
- guy who thought his tongue was a mop that could pick all food remnants out of my mouth
- guy who thought repeatedly attacking me with his pursed lips would actually stir my senses
- guy who thought biting and bruising my lips was a good idea
and many many more....
what takes the cookie though is being told off by a much older man once for being too active in the kissing progress. According to him a woman had just to part her lips and receive, never give back. Argghhh!

Full on Kissing can be much to personal I feel it has to with maintaining personal space, and my evidence is the saying get out of my face which is used when someone is up to close and making you feel uncomfortable.
And as for Kissing technique if it isn't working try and lead the kiss or break off and restart how you want it or just Bite their lip really hard that will get them to stop.

As this thread was last revived two years ago, it would be interesting to hear from previous contributors as to whether their views on the subject have changed.
On a personal level, I find kissing to be an enjoyable and erotic experience and is great foreplay.
Whether it is the merest brushing of lips to the hardest of bites on the bum (with full on tonsil tennis somewhere in between), kissing can engender and enhance a whole range of erotic, stimulating and passionate encounters.
I can't recall meeting a single fem and not having engaged in kissing, as part of sexual actvity, but with couples it's probably half and half.
If as a couple you have a no kissing rule, and it works for you, then that's cool. I would ask the question though, in an MMF situation, do you as a couple kiss to the exclusion of the third party?
We are a very kissy cpl and cant get turned on with out kissing and passion. If there is no spark from the kiss i cant get into anything else xxx
