Just being nosey really.
Do you play? Did you used to? (Not sure about the grammar there - but hey ho) Would you like to - but been too nervous or thought it was expensive?
I play the Clarinet - not very well - but enjoying it immensley. I've never been able to do more than pick a simple set of notes out on a piano and I wish I could do it. But it seems to be beyond me.
Nope but wish I could! I did start to learn bass guitar a couple of years ago but never kept it up.
I'd love to meet a guy who plays the sax :inlove:
I have grade 5 flute.
I'm hopelessly out of practice - I can still play but appear to have lost all ability to read music!
I do still blow a few notes every now and again.
Would love to play the piano - I find that a very sexy skill. :rascal:
played the violin for 5 yrs and was in the town orchestra
stopped playing when nails became more important than the violin
I can play the Piano, very badly. Entirely self-taught and it shows.
I can pick out the odd song when I can be bothered to learn it, takes me a while to get it down though as I have to commit it all to memory. However once you have the basics down the rest does seem to follow and you kind of get an idea which chords progress from one another and which don't.
Not learning to play properly is my biggest regret from school, but I have learned enough now to keep me amused and others in turmoil.
I wish I could play the drums too. A quality drummer is a very rare beast!
I was learning to play the guitar but life and painful hands got in the way
Hopefully I will be taking it back up when things settle down as it was something I really enjoyed
Went to see Green Day on Saturday and they had some people from the audience come up on stage and play lead guitar, bass and drums. I don't care which one I could do, so long as they picked me and I could get to be up close and personal wiv da band. Especially Mike Dirnt <swoon>.
Play the guitar for a living. Played most styles in my time. Classical, jazz and my big love is the acoustic blues guitar of the 1920's and 1930's. Blind Boy Fuller,Blind Blake, Gary Davis. Early Honeyboy Edwards. Wonderful stuff. I use one of my guitars as my avatar.
Piano church organ guitar fife recorder triangle
all very badly
i have dyslexic hands
but i can blow ok
I play a mean tune on the purple oboe!!!!
Seriously, I played the piano and violin as a kid but cant remember much now..... can still play the recorder though!!!
Mr fun plays guitar .... he's ok when he gets time to practice!!
I got to grade 6 in piano (I did jazz rather than classical)
couldn't do it now to save my life
Played the steel drums at school( not really an instrument, if you can remember songs and sequences then its easy).
Have a washburn accoustic guitar gathering dust, I can make noise on it that sometimes resembles a song(if I dont sing).
I dont practice enough and I have no musical ability....you wont see me in the charts, more like a nutter on youtube.
I cant play cards let alone an instrument...
my wee son plays guitar after a fashion tho! :bounce: :bounce: :taz:
I was taught the flugelhorn as a boy but gave it up in favour of strictly rythm guitar when i read Thatll Be The Day aged 12.
I still play guitar and sing along to make people go home after parties. Think Hugh Grant and the kid at the end of About A Boy.
I play drums even more badly and have an ambition to become accomplished on the ukulele.
