your belly button pierced?
How long does it take to heal?
Would it be uncomfortable when wearing jeans with a wide leather belt and buckle?
Advice please. Oh, and do any of you girls have any opinions on men having this piercing?

:scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:
Aww, ES, I swear to god you really dont feel it. Until afterwards anyway. I drew blood from Mr Naughtys hand because I was so scared and when he said it was done I was like "really?". Honestly, it hardly even hurts afterwards really. Just be suer not to get it infected because thats when it really hurst!!!
It takes up to 6 months to heal.
It looks very horrible to guys in my opinion and it may be uncomfortable for the first wee while!!
Hope this helps

ES... would it hurt for you to have your navel pierced? Not me, nope.
Sex God
I had mine done twice in 2 weeks, as she got it wrong the first time and it got badly infected because I kept fiddling with it.
Yes it did hurt for about 20 seconds whilst having it done (just clamp and pierde no freezing) and it took about 3 to 4 months to heal
M had hers done about three years ago. She said it didn't hurt but was alittle sore for three or four days. Make sure you only wear gold or something that ain't going to react with you!
It's worthwhile, cos guys love it on her!
Surgical Steel I think the guy that don mines called it. One that no one reacts too
The piercing didn't hurt a bit but mine is still quite sore after more than 6 months, off and on (flares up occasionally even though i haven't changed the bar).
I have seen it on several men and think it looks nice although it is unusual for men to have it done i believe

I found it a little painful when I had a bar put in years ago, but it was the kind of pain that has a pleasurable side too (helped that the guy who did it was ex army and F I T wink )
Some people heal quickly, mine never healed completely and I had to give up in the end. Personally, I don't like pierced navels on guys although I like other piercings!
rolleyes Some people get all the luck!!!
I had a guy who was large and covered in tattoos and he had peicings everywhere in his face. His cheeks and everything, thats why I was so scared but he was such a nice guy to talk to!!!
I was terrified when I went to get mine done rolleyes
To my surprise though I didn't feel it hurt at all .. biggrin took about 6 months to heal,
I was told to keep applying savlon spray to the area to keep it clean.....Jeans are OK if you have a ring in... I personally find studs tend to catch on the waistband  and it can be rather uncomfortable at times..
Never seen any guy with his navel pierced .....Cock yes :P lol
At the end of the day it's a very personal decision and if it's what you desire go for it!!

Yep, savlon spray to keep the wound clean and saline solution to clean the bar!!! You have to wait atleast 3 months change the bar too
I must admit to being a coward, I woudn't look forward to having anything pierced but my cock! Dear God, I'm feeling poorly just thinking about it. Ho Hum, what's the weather like outside?
It only hurts when they dont call you after .
Had mine done nearly two years ago now, didnt feel a thing although i was terrified!
Healed very well, never had a days problem with it, but i did fiind any jeans i wore had to be the low waist ones or else they rub and can catch it.
Soooooooo glad ive had mine done, thinking of having a bit more done down below lol BUT that im not sure about confused

somthing to think about if your having a piercing, if you are into sport ie jujitsu or any other contact sport you will not be able to go for about 6 weeks dependding on how you heal

 well if he was that nice I have a few ideas of what I'd be geting pierced.
Yep, my tongue

All of the above. LOTS of Savlon wound spray - constantly. And being a bloke it shouldn't catch on jeans as blokes jeans are lower on the hip than women's. I started wearing mens jeans when I had mine done and haven't worn women's since.
May I add that I am an absolute baby when it comes to pain. And I still say - nah - didn't hurt!
Good luck smile
I had mine done in April last year and never felt a thing....
The best advice given to me was from Speedo who said to use Savalon cream and I smothered it day and night using a cotton bud for about 3 months. I never even had a hint of infection and still use it about once a week just to make sure....
The law will only permit piecers to use titanium these days, which was another useful scrap of information that I gleemed from a member of SH who is no longer posting...
Another little tip I got from my sister (who has hers done about 3 yrs ago) was a bar is better than a ring with regard to catching etc. A bar is less likely to catch on waistbands and suchlike....
However, it really is down to you and providing you go to a reputable person and make sure it is kept clean then you should have no problems at all...
The only time I got squeemish was when I had to move it up and down for the first time....
Go on ES you know you wanna wink

Hmmm.
On a male - not sure - I know you are bi - but don't think it would look right.... (flame suit on - opionion of one person)
When F half had belly done - cost, say, £20. Cost £800+ in new low-cut bottoms and high tops! LOL!
Why not go for nipple or PA?
Feel free to PM to discuss more if you like!
navel peircings are quite an easy, painless one to have done.
not many guys get it done as it has a of being bit of a girls piercing, but most girls have the top done and i think its guys who have the bottom bit done which looks better imho.
it should depending on the person take about 6 to 12 weeks to heal, and yes as some one said above now we have to use titanium to peirce with or ptfe (plastic) which is good cos its flexible.
also start off with a banna bar not the straight ones, they do heal a bit quicker than a ring
also the savlon may make it feel like its healimg and stops it hurting but its not the best stuff to use as it does slow down the healing proccess it keeps it wet and there for longer to heal, my advice is just use salt water 2 or 3 times aday dont buy the crap they try and sell u, there is nothing better than salt water or urine but dont think u would want to try and pee all over your own belly........
....unless u like water sports wink
oh by the way im a proffesional peircer have been for 5 years and even have my own little studio that i use.
i did all off little miss2hots and she never had a problem with any i done or anybody else for that matter,
all i ask is u go to a proffesional and make sure u look after it properly (thats why most go wrong god damn lazy morons) mad :x
if u need any advice please feel free to ask me, like i say it is one thing that i know about am good at
yeah , i can definatly agree with 2big it is the only thing he knows and is good at wink
lol
Mine hurt only for a very split second, although it was a bit sore for a day or two after. It was a LOT less painful than the lip piercing and healed quicker then the eyebrow piercing I used to have.
I didn't use anything to keep it clean just the odd swish with TCP (yes, I reeked!!!).
A few weeks later I found a particularly disgusting fleshy lump appearing at the site of the piercing. I panicked of course, thought my guts were falling out and raced back to the piercing salon straight away.
The guy was brilliant. He said it was a polyp caused by pressure - maybe from my belt/waistband or by me fiddling with the jewellry so much.
The lump was only the size of a pin-head but he said most people wait till it's the size of a 50p piece before doing anything. On his advice, I treated it by pouring on very hot salty water then very cold salty water. It was gone in less than 48 hours and I've never had a problem since.
Occasionally, it can get caught on my belt but as a guy with a lovely flat belly you shouldn't have that problem anyway - don't men wear their waist band a lot lower???
IF you have a bit of a gut like me, you might find the more fancy jewellry is uncomfortable. I've got a gorgeous silver flower with a jewelled heart dangling on a little chain but it absolutely kills me to wear it.
I usually stick to the titanium banana bar it was pierced with as it is lighter than surgical steel.
Hope that helps!

Mine took a year or so to completely heal properly, I used savlon open wound spray to keep it clean. I found the clamp hurt more than the needle itself.
I found that the bar would twist around and got quite sore at times so my piercer recommended trying a ring which was much better, I never have any problems with it catching on clothes now.
I haven't seen a navel piercing on a man before so I can't comment on that really but if you want to get it done, go for it!

Been thinking about a PA for a while, anyone any experience ?

Didn't hurt even the tiniest bit, but I've had to wear low cut bottomsever since - anything else is flippin uncomfortable.
