Its cheaper to live abroad?
It enhances your mood? Makes you feel a whole lot better?

The same number of people living here, if the same number arrive as leave.
Have a look on the other threads if it's politics you want - other than conjecture (unless you know the exact reasons why they all left), nobody will be able to say for sure why the people emigrated.
My sister emigrated for the weather elsewhere.
must be then
fair point freckle..point taken next time i post will do it under"politics"

There are many reasons people choose to emigrate. I am not going into reasons as it will seem " political ".
I have disliked this country for many years and always have lived the dream about leaving when I retire to sunnier regions. I hope this dream will be achieved. When people ask me why I want to leave I always ask them the same question which is " name me 5 things you love about this country? " You know most people cannot get to 3. No doubt there will be people on here who have the time to think about that one and come up with a few, but ask someone without the time to answer and they will struggle.
Am counting down the years... lol
honesty at last...didnt take that long...nice 1

Or look further down the list to see if there's another thread which suits your comments?

Nothing wrong with a bit of political thinking wink . I do it all the time. Interesting though how many people emigrate and then want to go back 'home' wherever that is - grass looks greener etc...
We are all within one world (an onion) and one day we will really understand what that means .......
I still cant get over the fact we are not all under water already as shown in the film 'Water World', well Orwell and "1984" was pretty accurate after all and "Star Trek" - sorry am I wandering off the point of the thread - doh lol
