I am currently on an emotional rollercoaster after today... The feeling of pride is immense at the minute, but I am also feeling exhausted after feeling so bluddy nervous (feck knows why I wasn't the one singing dunno

) the excitement, the shock of hearing the ultimate prize :shock: :shock: and blubbing everytime I think of the amazing cheers, applause and whistles after daughter sang for everyone in the holding area....
Imagine a room of 250-300 people all talking and moving about.... Small child starts to sing, not very loudly... I can hear the room get quieter, and quieter until no-one is speaking or moving at all.... When she realised she stopped too, but continued to sing after some encouragement (still no-one is talking or moving) When she finished the whole room exploded with the applause etc... It was amazing.... That moment will be with me for the rest of my life *blubs*
My emotions can be all over the place at anytime... And the silliest thing will have me crying buckets... No idea why :dunno:
Kids really get you at times don't they? When I went to pick my son up at the airport before Xmas, I warned him I'd be the sad old bint blubbing away as he walked through arrivals and I was ! redface

He's only 28 bless him but it was the first time I'd seen him in 18 months. I was puddle of tears again 3 weeks later when I had to wave him off again :cry:

they are our future. I will surly miss our daughter when she leaves home. Only 11 & already talking about going off to uni & getting a flat with her mates :cry:

I have always been quite a stable , even unemotional character. As a man its something that we can be proud of. Only ever letting the mask slip when were drunk, we become a dad or our team wins.
But there is one more thing that makes men emotional jellies and scares the begesus out of us. Heratbreak when it comes is not pretty in man or woman. But I think us fella's make the most pathetic articles when it happen.
