no matter what i do i cant get smilies, what do i have to do? help me please i aint a dumb blonde ....honest

I think there is somewhere in Your Settings that allows you to disable them so........ maybe this needs to be adjusted. Sorry its a bit vague but I'm not too techy biggrin

you are clicking on them (<<< over there) when posting are you?
Or clicking on *View More Emoticons*?
hmmm.. dunno dunno

With the *View More Emoticons*, it can open a new window... have a peek to check whether or not the new window has opened *behind* the one you're viewing you post in... does that make sence? :dunno: rolleyes

On the right hand side, click "My Settings"
then towards the top right again click the "Forum" tab.
Then scroll down a little bit to the "Advanced Settings" bit and make sure the "always allow smileys" bit is marked as "Yes"
