I felt sorry for Andy the UK entry. It WAS a good song but as always the europeans have a chance to dig us Brits out. Joint last..what a joke.
How the heck did Spain get so many points ffs? That was the worst song I have ever heard.

Eurovision never fails to amaze and entertain us. Especially as we know that for the majority of other countries it is a very serious business. I guess it almost means we can laugh at their expense? Lets face it we seem to stick out like a sore thumb to the rest of Europe its our way of having the last laugh maybe?
We should really take the mick and give it best comedy performance or somthing at the BAFTA's
As ever Wogan keeps me interested in the show cos the acts are dire.
The problem with british entries is they are not driven by the desire to win eurovision but they make a chart hit first then try to win it. The british entries are more interested in making a buck first and foremost.

I too, always have the need to know who won it.
Heard on the news Terry Wogan may be retiring from it next year as he feels its become too political, I feel I have to agree with with the man. I love to hear his comments, not cynical at all is he

If he does retire next year it will take away any laughs that are left.
It has become too politcal. The Europeans dont like us...period. They vent their anger at us in this show, but if they vote for the Spanish entry then they need to take more tablets. :lol:
The whole show really is just a joke and has been for years, but I must say there were a few good songs. Greece was very good as was the Ukranes entry. I still cannot believe that the Spanish entry got any votes at all.....how bad was that song? :shock:

I havent watched the show in its entireity for years. I only watch the results cos 'T' makes me laugh. Wont be watching if he does retire.

Clearly Kent you do not appreciate the finer arts of Eurovision...
i.e. the comedy song! Spain was pretty cool, as comedy entries go - FisherPrice Elvis, as my friend so aptly decribed him! I loved the French bonkers bloke with his backing singers and their fake beards. The Bosnians were just genius with the knitting brides and the crazy washing line lady.... add into the mix '75-cent' the ageing rapper who scratched his gramophone records, the group dressed up as pirates and the fella from somewhere that dressed up as Dick Van in Mary Poppins.... c'mon Kent, comedy genius!!!
They had to get points just for comedic value alone.

I cannot understand why Andy put himself down for this though? He is mega talented and unlike years ago when it used to enchance your career, now it can be suicide for many. I hope that Andy recovers from this. :lol: Also I must point out that as a guy there was some top totty on display though. :lol:

If Wogan finishes with Eurovision then i can only see one replacement His updated Mini-me.... Jonathan Ross!. Not everyones cup of tea I know but he has similar humour style I think and could carry it off admirably
