I still think the 450k++ is a bullshit figure of the memebrship.
I view that as many people have at sometime over the last few years, filled in the registration pages.
Yes - some people (including me) are whinging about " totally insignificant things" - that's things that are totally insignificant to others, but not themselves - the "Tossers Spam Charter" for one.
I remember well the thread you yourself started andstickied about banning persistant PM spammers.
So - please bear in mind - What's insignificant to you, may well be important to others

the figure of 450,000 may well be unrealistic and again, does it matter whether it's 450,000 or 4,500 (the number currently online) - not to me. That's for Admin to get concerned with. It's just a number.
As I said in my post, some of the whinges are relevent and do affect peoples' enjoyment of the site, but some are whinging for whinging sake, because it appears to be the 'thing to do' when changes occur. It's a case of getting the balance right. Make constructive criticism by all means, make sensible suggestions as to what will improve the site - that's what is appreciated by all.
I'm sure Admin don't have a bottomless pit of money to throw at the site and at some stage they have to make commercial decisions about how that money is spent. Some changes cost more than others and some changes come bundled with others, pretty much like when you get something from Microsoft. To take something out of that bundle after installation may not be cost effective to appease a very small minority of the Site. Thats not to say they shouldn't consider it. The change that may be required, although maybe for a small minority, might have a significant impact on all users, so it might be the thing to do. Who are we to tell them how to spend their money for our enjoyment?
As to what I need to bear in mind is also what everyone else needs to bear in mind, Dammie, I'm not an exception, no more than you or Neil are. We're just members with an opinion, with no-ones' opinion counting higher than anothers.

first off . . . in this thread, and the other one about cam stealth, how many people, other than dammy and i, posted? both threads have gone on for 8 pages or more. 20 posts per page . . . how many people does that make raising genuine concerns?
did a lot of ops also post criticisms in these threads? do you imagine for one minute that those ops are trolling, and whinging for the sake of whinging, or do you think they are trying to be constructive, and offer valid criticism based on genuine concern? somehow, i can't see that ops who've invested much of their time and effort in this site, would be trolling, do you?
mal, you and i know both know that i can hit the search button right now, and find posts you yourself have made re: changes to the site. in fact, i seem to remember you suggesting that some changes seemed to be aimed at making this site into some kind of adult contact, instashag site? i, of course, assume that you were genuinely concerned, and raised issues you had an opinion on? i also strongly suspect that concerns about site changes have been raised in mods lounge? the difference is, mods have the privelege of doing that in private. we only have the open boards?
we can take this to PM if you prefer?

Just do what we do, state quite clearly on your profile that all winks will be ignored and deleted..that's stopped most of them for us.
