no its a swinging site and linked to sex.
its not just about my bosss finding out, but the stereotypical connection swingers face. i deal with vulnerable people and my Private activities could be viewed as wrong. no they probally couldnt get me sacked but i wouldnt want to upset. more so i do not want horny little 14 year olds hunting the internet then exposing me to me daughter.
its not just about me but the effect my life has on others.
people can expose people without opening them selves up and like i said some may not care about other knowing what they do.
xx fem xx
i have a face pic on my profile tis the same one as my avatar, the reason i have it is that i'm quite proud of it...I had it done about 2 yrs ago an a pro shoot. However after reading the comments on this post I'm seriously considering removing it, I'm not bothered about people recognising me or anything like that as i have no time for people who feel they can comment on my lifestyle with prior stereotypical judgements.. tis jus that a few of the comments have made me think that perhaps i should move into private.
Hmmm
We have no worries -
look at it this way:
1. This is not an illegal activity
2. If someone did use the pics they will reveal their identity on here
3. See 2 - they would be open to litigation
4. blackmail or threats of any kind constitutes a crime
5. Swinging is not a crime - it is a lifestyle
6. We dont give a crap lol - my boss would piss himself laughing and say 'fair play - how does he join?' lol
7. We would be famous for 15 minutes - see Warhol-A
So no need to be paranoid - be a proud swinger!!
There are still a hell of a lot of closed minds in this world and I for one do not wish to put my children through any kind of termoil because someone wishes to be vindictive...
Anyone wishing to "out" a member here can do so without revealing their own identity quite easily so the notion that they are here for the same thing therefore wont bother me doesn't really work...
Depends on your own personal comfort at the end of it.
Facebook biting me or any other place is not a problem for us
Frankly - we take every day as it comes - we used to worry about what others think but really its not worth it if it causes you anxiety. Choose the way you reveal yourself in a way you are comfortable - always remember its your choice and not that of others. A photo is a photo and really people who judge are narrow minded if not shallow :P
With reference to the kids thing - mine is grown up so maybe that is why i am not worried so fair comment
We did have some face pics on our profile, but we got recognised. It didn't really cause us any major probs as the guy that saw them was one of my mates. But it was an eye opener... But Jon, if you're reading this, i know you're glad you found the pics.. ha. And for anyone else who's wondering, yes we did all meet up...
But looking back, we got off lucky... So the face pics are off now. Although we do still share and trade pics and movies any stuff on a one to one level...
G&S
I think its really down to personal choice. I know that most people would rather see a face pic before responding to an advert, and its just a shame that our world is so judgemental of the lifestyles of other. I do occasionally send face pics, but having one on a public profile is a brave step that I don't think I'd be comfortable in taking, though i fully respect those who do.
moved here bit more than a year ago, the company I work for is in Italy..family is mostly there too..and my parents both know what I'm upto even if I didn't need to go into details.
in this time I've made precious little friends and most of them through this sort of websites.
I'm single, have no children...so all in all it's still pretty safe for me to put my ugly mug out there.
when things will start rolling, socially, and if I find myself a girlfriend..things may change..untill then, I ain't bovvered.
Here's a good reason to keep your faces off the internet if you are in any sort of employment that has 'disrepute' clauses.
I take the precaution of always wearing this fake 'tache even when I go to work so no-one ever recognises me.
After a lot of deliberation, I decided to make my face pic public. I figured that most people are on here for the same reasons as myself, and it wouldn't really bother me anyway, if someone I knew discovered me.
I believe that it's a big time saver too ~ people can see what I look like without having to message me and request a pic
You've all made some very good points about this, but I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. Ultimately, it all depends on each individuals circumstances whether or not any identifying piccies are made public.
There are a number of occupations particularly in health, education and social sevices, where an employee can be disciplined or even dismissed for being a member of this site.
Lonni xxx
Are there? I work in schools and have never failed a CRB check.
