Facial Hair...on blokes that is

I've had a goatee for a good few years now, and recently cut it off to see how I would look, in the vain hope there would be a Brad Pitt beater under the hair..
Well, I'd be lucky if the face that greeted me was a Peter Beardsley beater! Honestly, I looked like a bloody sex pest with the facial hair off, and was getting sick of the people around me looking at me in poorly-disguised shock whilst saying, "I'm sure we'll get used to it!" rolleyes

Now, I resolved to grow the damned thing back as soon as I bloody could, but I'm one of these poor sods that take weeks to grow even a fine wisp of hair on my face. On my head? Man, I can grow that stuff like one of those kids toys where the plasticine comes out the toys scalp by revolving a handle, but on my chin I daren't put my head out of a moving car in case the wind rips it off..
So after about three weeks of wearing large brimmed baseball caps and looking like a mugger, it finally grew back to a close approximation of it's former self... But I'll carry the mental scars for years.. lol

Well all my hair on my head, and from my name you can guess I have a full beard smile

In my case it softens my overall look, after all at 6ft 5 and 20 Stone I a big heavy built and scary sight. Now imagine that clean shaven and skin head... um no not me :) Long hair, neat beard, happy me :)
Besides after all this time I feel stupid without it... not to mention the rashes... ow sad

Ya missed out stubble, still counts as facial hair and I think it looks the nicest on a bloke, especially when it's a few days old so it's not tickly, but nice and rough :twisted:

I hate it. I love a man with a smooth face and very soft. I get a rash if I kiss a man with a hair on their face. I also think that a man with a beard looks older than he is.

I've had a beard for the last 23 years but at one stage I didnt trim it for 17 months. Just kept the mouth clear. It was past my navel and so wild it outdid Karl Marx. It was a deep red colour. These days it trimmed nicely and nearly white all over. Wouldnt be without it. Must be something to do with the need to have a bush on my face!

Personally, mine is too patchy to grow a full beard.... and moustaches are just too gay for my liking.... Yuk!

it does depend on the bloke I guess..
I hate having to shave, so I tend to have a bit of stubble, along with my goatee and tash, though I do occassionally consider going clean shaven again.. I'm not sure which I prefer, there's two pics in my ad, one clean shaven, one not, so you decide.

If I want to get student rates on things, or to just look younger then I shave. If I want to avoid being asked for ID on a night out then I don't shave for a day or two before hand. Strange how some stubble can add years onto your appearance confused

id say not shaven ...allthough a bit less beetroot in your diet might be a good idea too either that or ur cam was playing up :P

Hi al, hope you are having a dandy time.
Iâ€™m new and I thought Iâ€™d start of by saying hi and talking a little about facial hair. I was going to start a new thread but then I found this one.
If I was a women I some how think a beard would turn me of, but that might just be because I donâ€™t like bearded women, besides I wouldnâ€™t want to go down on a women with loads of hair, can one even make that comparison? I think you canâ€¦
I have bean experimenting with beards since I was 18 and my personal conclusion is that a beard works like a mask. Iâ€™ve recently grown a humongous beard, which seems to have given me more authority. The tricky thing now is that Iâ€™m a bit reluctant to shave it ofâ€¦ what if there is someone else underneath? Either whey I will keep it a bit longer, because believe it or not Iâ€™m earning money on it.

Beards - Yes as long as they are well kept and don't join up with the chest hair.
Mustaches - Ahhhh NO! I dislike them.
Goatees - Depends... short and neat is good.
and all variations - dunno

I think I prefer clean shaven and masculine aftershave. :rascal:

I love hairy men, its so primal and feckin horny!!! Goatees my fav, closely followed by a nice stubbly, prickly face. YUM! YUM! And as for a hairy chest oh god yes please!!!
