off to a fancy dress party 2nite - have nothing to wear and refuse to pay for something fancy! anyone got any ideas of something i can wear from bog standard house stuff? thanks

white bed sheet tied all fancy = toga/ roman kind of thing...
Depends what you have in your wardrobe... if it's anything like mine you should be able rustle up a fancy dress outfit with old clothes in no time :dunno:

Go in the six colours of the Rubick's cube (R, Y, G, B, O, W) and ask people to swop clothes with you during the night so you end up one colour and complete the puzzle... or just get naked!

thansk for the help lol - ive been out with the same bunch of mates as a school girl and a dominatrix (dont dare do that again, someone unziped my skirt and besides it was halloween, this one is valentines do but there is no theme) think im goin to wear my wetsuit - just hope i dont boil! keep on with the suggestions though and thanks guys xxxx

I agree with Gem - and, if that's too drab, you can add a splash of colour with an old curtain, some ivy leaves and a nice serpent...

Was the neighbours' whose party it was. They'd just got it that evening, and didn't know how to handle it. I've always loved snakes, and used to raise them from eggs in wet newspaper. I think they gave it back to the shop about a week after that party.
