Whats your worst fashion faux pas?? you know the time when you thought you looked soooooooooooo gorgeous or a real cool dude....but when you think back you theink "WTF was I thinking??"
or whats the one thing you cant stand to see on others.
My worst fashion disasters have to be from the 80's....I had a penchant for wearing two different coloured fluorescent socks (with a choice of stomach acid green, shocking pink, bile yellow or Sellafield orange redface
I also had a spell where I wore my make up to match, i had pink and orange mascaras and yellow lipstick, and I actually went out in public like that.
My worst one tho was white stilletoes with black tights surprisedops:
I hate seeing sandals with socks....no, no NO!!!!
there is never any excuse got that little gem!
So, tell me all your deep and hidden times when you were a fashion victim!!!
Supplying pics would be even better wink  lol
Mismatched socks are not so bad, theres a whole website dedicated to the love of them

But fashion faux paux gosh ive done hundred.
Red and green together.
Striped shirt with spotty tie.
I think thats why Naturism appeals I cant go wrong in Pink.
I've still got a pair of MC Hammer style pants, they were called harem pants in those days.
They had a huge bum bit, that came down nearly to you knees. I loved them so much, they're bound to come back into fashion any day now lol
When I was about 13 bright yellow platform shoes with bright blue straps..I thought they are wonderful!!
redface surprisedops:
Erm.... redface millions!
I loved 80s fashion though... my ra-ra skirt was fab, my puffball one better and as for my jade green asymmetric patterned batwing jumper, well... what can I say!!
What I fail to understand now looking back, is what the flippin 'eck point was there to the snood?! (Of which I had several I may add... jade green, cerise pink and black from memory - most of my wardrobe in the 80s was one of those colours!!)
Nola x
ewww snoods....remember Nik Kershaw the 'King of the snood'
and Deelyboppers? the headband with the springs attached with amusing novelty things on the end??...
ahhhh the folly of youth!! lol
I don't have any fashion disasters...
I've not been allowed to go clothes shopping on my own since god was a boy.
Ian
(I think it has something to do with my knee length shorts. - Lime green with large black velvet flowers).

I do remember wearing a pink, blue and silver sparkly sweat band because they were wearing them when I went to see the original 'Fame' surprisedops:
Shirt and tie but shorts instead of long trousers (think it was a Spandau thang) Looked a complete tw*t but didn't realise...........Luckily one of my mates kindly pointed out that I didn't have the legs for it so it wasn't a look I persisted with redface
Stretch jeans..........I used to wear these in the 80's as did a lot of people but when I look back at pics I look feckin stupid, sparrow legs, no bulge at the front and sticky out ass at the back surprisedops:
i used to have a pink and green shell suit redface i used to love it at the time, looking back now, what waas i thinking rolleyes
Leg warmer's redface
Snood's surprisedops:
Bottle top's on my shoe's

Sorry to hijack but Dave!!!! I missed you kiss
I've never been a fashion victim and I can categorically say that I've never owned a puffball or rara skirt, dressed like anyone from Adam & The Ants, chav trackies ( especially those matching velour ones :scared: ) nor donned a bin liner to go punking it at the local club.
The 80's were shite fashion-wise and if ANY part of it makes a comeback I'm on the next flight to Australia!
Thank the Lord that no one ever took a photo of me when I was a Bay City Roller fan in the 70s
