Should Paris Hilton be allowed to get off her jail stint?

Im smacked in the gob, really I am rolleyes
I'm sure you all know ths story- Paris Hilton (apparantly) is begging Arnie (you couldn't make this up) for clemency as she brings "joy and entertainment" into peoples lives.
Do you think her "entertainment" value warrants her a "get out of jail free" card? Or should she be made to do her time like the rest of us would?
Theres a thought- I'm gonna ignore Dambusters law (I think you can guess my views!) and make it a poll......
The only way she should get out of a jail sentence is if she comes round to mine and proves how good an entertainer she is! :giggle:
Jail??? I'd pack her off to the remotest island in the world with all the other annoying chavs and chavettes and be done with them all! rolleyes
Maybe if we evacuate Australia there MIGHT be room for them all confused
why is there a 'yes' option?

We only need Pete Doherty to get banged up now and i will once again start to belive in the justice system...

Purely in the interest of fairness- didn't want it to look like a rigged poll! :giggle:
Actually, would they have to make a "paris proof cell" to stop her just walking sideways through the bars? confused
Mind you, she'd get her ego stuck rolleyes
What did she do redface

Apart from that :giggle:
Briefly, and the fact will be sketchy coz im not putting her name in my search box.....
She was banned from driving, for something. Whilst banned for the said something she continued to drive, and was spotted as she was driving with no lights on. She said she believed her ban was already up. The judge sentenced her to 45(?) days in the clink. ( I don't think the judge had heard her single though)

No she definately shouldnt be let off of it. What sort of example does that set?

I think Winchy is more likely to be correct than me redface
No. Having money and influence should not put you above the law, but sadly too often it does. Hence the saying " One law for the rich and another for the poor" Am waiting with interest to see what sentence George Michael gets for driving while under the influence .. not his first offence so the rest of us would probably get a jail sentence ... whats the betting?

How could I possibly argue with my pretty in pink pin up :inlove:
No they shouldn't put Miss Hilton in prison for 45 days for driving whilst under the influence and driving whilst disqualified.
They should try 450 days instead!
Lock Paris Hilton away if she was a normal off the street person she would already be there, I just hope her high priced lawyer does'nt get her off with a deal mad
Infact I think they should be more hard on these so called stars/wannab's they all seem to get away with murder money talks & they sure have plenty of money.
These people live off the hero worship of the general public mostly the young confused so if they cant set a good example then put em behind bars & when they come out if they dare to make more money out there ordeal by selling there stories then take the money away & put it to good causes in the community biggrin
If you do the crime you must do the time!
So how do I get a Free Paris Hilton then? :confused2:

To combat that, she would be put in a cell with a Glass door. That way the guards could stand there and laugh when the silly woman can't work out why she can't escape.....:giggle:
the ironic thing about the whole episode is that the one time she actually listens to her publicist (apparently he was the one who told her she could drive on a suspended license if it was "work related" ) this happens...
needless to say he is no longer employed by her anymore...........
Who the f**k is Paris Hilton? dunno
How I wish I really didn't know! I don't get time to read newspapers - well not that sort anyway - and don't read any of the 'celeb' style publications. Radio 4 is (thank God) still a Paris Hilton/Pete Doherty/Jade Goody-free zone and yet I have still managed to hear of her. Well, I suppose it means that there is one hell of a publicity machine working away somewhere! mad

errrrm, but she doesn't work! rolleyes
That's what makes me really angry. I have no problem with people being famous singers, actors, even footballers (though I have to try really hard with that last category). What I can't stand is people who are famous for....well being famous - and have absolutely no discernible talent whasoever.
I don't even find her attractive :scared:. She's like a Barbie doll - only less lifelike.

If my memory serves me correct didnt Halle Berry get away with two offences one where she drove away from the scene of an accident? Also If my memroy is correct didnt she run the ame red light twice causing both accidents. She caused the second lot of people some extensive injuries as well I think and clamined amnesia when arrested.
Should Paris Hilton be locked up, I guess if thats the law in america for everyone else then yes but have to say I haved a relative here who has done it twice and is banned for 3 years but no jail sentance but whatever it has to be the same for all.
It's not the first time that Paris has been sent down I believe rolleyes
