Well, I got up at 7 this morning, and I've let the dog out, and I've had a cup of tea and a slice of toast, (and yes before you ask I've let the dog back in again rolleyes

) and I've been sitting here reading threads.
I'm not going through a very good time at the moment, in fact those of you who know me (and there aren't too many of you yet because I'm a very private person) will know that I'm going through a pretty crap time, and yet sitting here reading all the various messages, it's like having coffee with friends. I have met one or two of you at munches, although the people I have met more than likely won't remember me because I'm very quiet and usually stand in the corner just watching the world go by, and it is quite a nice feeling sitting here and watching people sign in and knowing that they are doing the same as me, coming here to say hi to everyone.
So, hi to everyone, those of you who know me and those of you who don't yet know me but might in the future. Whatever you're doing have a great day, and smile in the knowledge that just by logging in to the site, you are saying hello to us all.

I know how you feel.
I am going through a bit of a bad patch with a friend (female).
She has ignored me for the past five days and I do not know why.
Sent an e-mail and still no answer. sad

Thats the way if the world, aint it ..
But comming in here gives you the feeling of not being alone but among friends.
Not one to waffle on so I will say bye hun. kiss

Jules I kinda know what its like with this lot in here. I have my morning cuppa with you guys EVERY morning. Usually my night time one too and many many many more during the day.
Even if I don't feel like posting because I'm feeling crap cos I have too much on my plate (like now). I am still here smirking at the odd thread. Hoping some nuttyness is taking place. Wishing people wouldn't argue over small problems that really don't matter.

Makes me feel better I am not the only nutter that sits with her morning cuppa going through the threads not necessarily replying to any but feeling better just for knowing there are people out there.
I am for a change in quite a good place at the minute but my thoughts are with you guys who arent.......
heres hoping the new year will be better for al of us

It's the time of year for it Jules. So many people go on their merry way getting excited about Christmas and the other festivities, it's easy to forget that it's a crap time for other people. I send you my biggest hugs and hope that you feel somewhat better soon :therethere:
This place is exactly as you describe it. I'm sitting here with my morning cup of coffee having a browse before I go off to work. I do the same thing most mornings, and like Dawn, most nights. Not always (in fact rarely at the moment!) saying anything, but watching the cafe members go by and smiling to myself.

I have found a lot of support here, not so much in direct discussion of my problems, but in the knowledge that we are interested in one another, and if I need a bit of support again, as perhaps I will, I know there will be people about to offer it.
In the meantime the entertainment and the conversation are wasting too much of every day that should be more productive...but what the hell.
