Taxation is not the answer. By taxing big expensive cars or air travel, the result is more revenue from taxation, whilst making big cars and air travel exclusive to the rich.
Anyway, while everyone's worrying about global warming, they're ignoring the more scary fact: The earth is well overdue for a polarity switch. And that's likely to allow the solar winds to scour all the atmosphere off the planet - just what happened to Mars! :shock:

Global Warming - Fact or Fiction
Call me cynical if you want but there are too many big corporations with a vested interest on both side of the argument. Each one is using the information to its own financial needs and wants, the politcions especially. The green dbate is again in the news and the only people that are NOT commenting on it are The Green party.
Fact: theres a ring of forests thats in the northern hemephere that produces enough oxygeon to supply the entire planet.

We cannot accurately forcast the weather using the technology and historical data that we have which is massive so how the hell these guys say with any certainty on global warming is beyond me
