I already know that most women, or men for that matter, don't like hairy backs on men. Mine seems to have gotten progressively hairier over the past few years so I need some advice on the best way to exfoliate my back.
I've tried waxing, at home mind you, and it was painful and left red blotches and raw skin for a few weeks. I can't really do shaving as some is in places too hard to reach on my own, and I don't know the effect Immac, or Veet will have.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer to avoid wax, and I don't care if it makes me a sissy :P
Only start to worry if the hairs grow more nearer the full moon ........If so I'm sure pets mart may stock something to help........p.s. try to refrain from barking at moon........
go down to local beauty salon and ask them,
mines hairy too ?
not sure what do do ,might clipper it
Waxing is good but it can take a while for your body to get used to. Keeping cool is important for a day or two afterwards. I get waxed all over and I love it.
I cannot recommend a professional wax enough. the only downside is that everytime it needs re-doing, you'll haev to wait a couple of weeks for the hair to get really long again.
please, please, do not shave or "Veet" it. The hair grows back blunt and prickly and you're at risk of ingrowing hair which is really unattractive cos you get nasty spots and alsorts.
While we're on the subject ... waxing makes the hair finer so you ccan get ingr=owing hairs that way too. The hair is just too soft and fine to push through the skin. So make sure you regularly scrub your back, preferably with a good exfoliator and one of those net scrunchy things ( about a quid in Superdrug but you can get em for less in cheapy shops).
If you do get ingrowing hair, scrubyour skin in the bath/shower and pick the hair out asap cos it'll only get worse. You might want to invest ina body lotion too oris that going too far?
It's so nice that more men are taking care of themselves and have an interest in personal grooming. i'm very lucky to have a bloke that loves to be pampered and will think nothing of spending a bit of cash on making himself look even more gorgeous for me.
I don't work for Clinique - honest! - but they have a brought out loads more products for men and it's well worth it. Top quality stuff.
Yup - go and get it waxed professionally mate. I did shave my other half's in the bath last night and did a damn fine job but you can't beat a proper waxing
I didn't realise that we had so many of Darwin's missing links as part of this forum, only kidding just go and get it waxed and try not to cry out to loud.
remember to take a hot shower before you go for the wax, not only because you should always be hygenic (I cannot imagine what professional waxers must have to put up with  ) but also because the steam from the hot shower will make the hair softer and easier to remove = less pain for you.
xx
well i always get my better half to do my back....with a couple of packets of Nair...but would love to get it waxed properly one day!
BURN IT OFF WITH FIRE ,
