Have been on a couple of political Question Time type programmes in Londond many years ago.
My most embarassing one was appearing on a kids show with a puppet seal and a puppet walruss - and yes, I was a fully grown adult at the time!!

was interviewed a few days ago on TV (Work related).
Was wondering if anyone else has been on TV or been an extra etc?

In the 80's there was a film called 'Threads' made about Nuclear War. I was one of the children running round in the playground - red sort of matress coat on (ooh such style!)
Tsk I coulda been a star ....

I remember it being part of our English course back at GCSE/earlier in the early 90s. Am curious to see it again now.
Was on 15 to 1, got knocked out in the second round.
Have also been on 3 programmes related to football violence- The time the place from Germany in 1988, Bobbys Army from Italy 1990 and one from Sweden in 1992- a shot of me drinking strong lager on a park bench. Was also interviewed in Italy for Ecuador television. Not that I'm a hooligan or anything.

Met him as well, nice bloke (only one missing finger tip, bitten off by an otter! rock and roll)
Won a competition as a kid and got to go on the show (in Canada) and be interviewed. I went all shy and refused to smile coz I'd lost my two front teeth. redface
Goet reall mad mad eelection before last coz council screwed up and lost my papers, which meant I wouldn't be allowed to vote. Rang local tv and they did a short piece of me walking into the polling station, coming out all disgruntled etc.
Two years ago I went to Elstree Studios as an extra for the (yet to be released) film 'Cheeky' starring(?!?) David Thwelis, Sting's missus, and Jhonny Vegas.
Do video cameras in the bedroom count? ;)

My what a lot of famous people we have here. As for myself as a Welsh Guardsman loads of times with Trooping the Colour but you could never find me heheh.
Again in 1982 from the Falkands and interviewed when we got back.
And finally had a whole documentary made about me in 2002 when I went back to the Falklands to help "Lay the Ghosts"
And numerous other occasions when we were on Royal Duties and Royalty were about hehehehehe.
Just a the normal life of a soldier really :P :P :P

Someone else pm'd the other day wondering if I had a copy. Would be interested in seeing it again myself really - don't really take much in at that age. Maybe I'll see whether the library has a copy......

I've been on telly a couple of times as a child - first ones were in the news. Not go into that story here.
The second and last to my knowledge was at the tender age of 10. My primary school was selected to do a half hour programme called Children and their Music, presented by Gloria Hunniford. Everything was fine until the last number when we did a bit out of HMS Pinafore. I was happily doing my hornpipe dance routine when someone knocked my sailor's hat off. I caught and, like a true professional, put it on my head and carried on with the routine. The elastic chin strap was across one of my eyes making me look more like a pirate than a sailor. Needless to say, the TV crew picked up on this and 'Hey Presto' zoomed in on the idiot pirate and stayed with me until the end of the routine. I sorted out my hat and put it on the wrong way. My little routine became the biggest talking point the day after airing.
My mother has since tracked down a copy of the programme and has great pleasure in bringing it out to embarass me.
Ho hum, I'm not scarred by the incident or the subsequent teasing. At least, not after the help.
Yes, 1968 in an advert for Polo
I was on MTV the on wednesday, but I doubt any of you lot watch it lol
It's a talk show kinda thing called Total Request Live (TRL)
Meh, I'm gonna be a star one day :P
I was on the Weakest Link once, didn't win but was the strongest link for one of the rounds.
Have been interviewed lots of times regarding various political stuff I am invloved in and have been filmed on dozens of protests, demonstrations etc and was in an indepedant film about asylum and anti-deportation campiagns which was shown at a cinema recently.
In the words of that 80's pop band .......... when will I, will I be famous?
I've been on TV a few times either for fun or been paid to do it. I've also done some film exta work and do a lot of Radio stuff.
