cant really comment too much either...had it done as a baby......probly screamed to roof off, but that could have beent due to my teddy falling!! :cry:

Had mine done in the summer of 2005....it didn't hurt one bit...although you have to extra careful with regards to infection...not a problem for me I might add as I'm ultra clean..... wink

..the stitches dissolve over a 2-3 week period.
Downside: Can't have sex for a while, I did lose some sensitivity and occasionally felt a numbness down below during sex...some folks might call this a benefit but not me. I hear circumcisions carried out privately offer a service which removes excess skin from the base of the penis thus retaining the sensitivity at the top of the penis (an idea from the US I believe).
Benefits: Looks good, cleaner, bigger erection (my wishfull thinking no doubt), the ladies seem to prefer it. Sensitivity is slowly but surely returning..!!

Good luck with the op.
It's no big deal.
I had a circumcision when I was 25.
As the operation was done under general anaesthetic I didn't feel a thing. No major discomfort afterwards either.
If I was doing it today I wouldn't bother with the chemical anaesthetic. I'd have a hypnotically induced anaesthic instead. People who undergo hypnosis bleed less and recover faster. And, unlike with general anaesthetics, no patient dies under hypnosis.
An interesting side-effect of the operation was that for aboutr a year afterwards I could piss very high - about 15 feet high in fact ! cool

had the op 21 days ago only one problem after - a few days later i woke up with a involuntary erection and burst some of the stitches :shock: ,only i did`nt realise until after , anyway just about healed now, just taken longer... rolleyes

i was told the stitches would disolve 10 days after which they did , however they used two types of stitches white gut stitches external and internal ones which where purple these internal ones i would`nt of seen if not for my mishap ,the thing is those ones had not disolved at all after 12 days, so i presume they take a lot longer to disolve...
even with the healing delay it has been ok and im pleased with the end result wink

you know u should give the surgeon a tip for doin it for you.

there is a downside unfortunately.
33 years after me having mine done i have now lost all sensation on my bell end "sorry for being so crude"
so now i can go for hours and hours no problem at all. BJ's are ok but i do not get any sexual pleasure from them personally as the sensation is not there.
so if you are having the op now, no problem cos your penis will be redundant when your 70 anyway lol

I'm sorry to read that 34fun. Any loss of sensation is obviously not welcome but I think you must have just been very unlucky. I had mine done 45 years ago and don't have any loss. If anything, I'm getting more sensitive as the years go by. But that's subjective so it could just be wishful thinking.

it dont bother me, i still get pleasure as long as my partner who i'm with is happy, then i have no problem.
i did see a post on here not so long ago for people to redesign their penis, as in re-stretching their forskin... with a variety of weights and such like.
