what does it mean when a voice on here says "youve got company", and what do i do about it / how do i reply

Not sure if I get this post at all?? If you refer to a PM, it is accessable at the top of your screen next to your own profile, and is how people can send you a message without it being live on the forum? When you read it, at the bottom you can reply...anything else is beyond me for now without further explainations...

I have not heard this phrase on here at all but would have made the same suggestion as Rocky.
I have heard it used by a friend talking to her daughter, but she was combing her hair at the time and the company she described had legs and made her head itch!!!! I am sure this is not what you are describing.
Could you elaborate a bit more and see if we can help further?

Are you using AOL?
AOL always says you've got company as soon as someone on your buddy list logs on.
Might be that!

I agree. Sounds like AOL. The "You've got company" is spoken by Joanna Lumlley (you'll recognize her voice). I've recently ditched AOL in favour of another provider. But i do remember the YGC.

I have Aol and I adore Joanna Lumley she is up there on my all time list of sexy and talented ladies.
I hadnt realised it was her voice as I usually have the sound turned off.
From now on I shall turn the sound on ....is there anyway I can get her to say ..
