cheers for the PM.. nice to see a fellow geordie on the site.
there's definately a good few others from the north east on here too so
we're not alone.
Hopefully we can pass on some advice to each other about clubs etc
as Ive not been to one yet and not convinced I want to start in Newcastle!
The others in places like Blackpool or Leeds look much more inviting.

yes fluffer but the A69 is not a motorway
its just a major trunk road lol

so where is there a motorway from the NW to the NE cos i go that way regularly and there isnt one hiding behind the lake district as far as i know! M6 north A69 east is the main way...god why have i got into a traffic discussion?

M62 can be a nightmare! the M1 link up bypassing leeds from the M62 is very nice (i used to drive 1000 miles aweek all round the north).. but once you hit the A1M.. its crap, torture in fact. As much as I dont like the A69.. its better than the A1M.
Depends where in the NW you are I suppose.
Look Laura... we've got a whole debate going now on getting a posse up to our neck of the woods. Hurray!
