What made you chose you name, mine was obvious to me really used it before i think i just had wineman but as the net is a global place i put UK in front of it.

Our's was a spur of the moment thing,decided in about 2 seconds flat on the signup page 
I originaly signed us up on a free membership to see if there would be any response, and if the site would be worth paying for as our paid membership on another site was about to expire and we hadnt been impressed with it.
It made sense at the time we swing,we like fun and we are a couple! Tho since going to our first munch we have had a giggle about the name and did consider a name change....but to what

well my dad had the C part of the name, my mum and dad chose the "mi*hael" part of it.
i just shortened it...

Marya bears some similarity to my real name which has an unusual spelling so i couldn't consider it as a username.
the Northeast bit was only added recently. You'll have to ask St3v3 about that. It's nothing interesting really, I just can't be arsed to explain!

I just flipped through a dictionary and looked for nice sounding words which at the time I felt had some connection with what I wished to achieve from joining this site.
After joining however, I learned of a swingning club by this same name and now I keep on receiving PMs asking when my opening times are!
And they are always from men!!

Well we gave ours a lot of thought actually (bloody damn habit of marketing background), we wanted something that made it clear we were a couple and also wanted to have names that could identify us seperately within our couple status for being at socials and munches. I also think it gives you much more of a character than being called gjp2000UK
The non sucessful ones were diamond and steel and red and black, so would diamond or red have suited me or am I just fluffy pink now to you all? :angel:
