How long did it take for a first successful meet?

We haven't been looking very long, and we're not in any great hurry, but we've had a couple of false starts and we were curious to know how long it took for other couples and singles to get things started. So, we are asking -
Firstly, how long did it take for you to meet your first contact face-to-face, and
Secondly, how long did it take before you got any shagging going? confused

Took about 2-3 weeks to arrange the meet, we met in a layby so pretty much got things together after an hour with each other.
Then others came in to the truck to join us ;)

well it's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question. depends what you're looking for, but if you're lucky, and bump into the right person, right time, whether through ads, chatroom, or here, it could happen in a matter of days. it's not unknown for that to happen. ;) then of course opportunities might come up any time, but the timing or the vibe is all wrong, and you pass them by, and wait a while longer. social meets began for me with munches a coupla months after i joined, but it was after the 2nd munch that i felt confident enough to take up the opportunities. i always was kinda slow though! rolleyes

My first meet was within a month of joining the site. That was through the ads section.
We met purley social and I ended up turning round half way back home :twisted:
Second meet through the ads was a couple of weeks later and we've been seeing each most weekends sinde then (double :twisted: :twisted: )
Three months to meet peeps off the forum.

Just to add something here. I know personally two separate people who struck lucky with their very first post. One on dogging and one on Lets' Meet Up - jammy bastards!! lol

How long.. wow thats a question and a half.
Ok Dawn and I had discussed entering the world of swinging for around six months, and when we went on our summer holiday in 2003, we decided to go for it.
Dawn found Swingingheaven and placed an advert as soon as we came back from our holiday (middle august 03) and we had our first successful meet one month later.
We had a couple of "social" meets and others we would prefer to forget before then.
I'll always remember the day of our first swap, cos I was made redundant on the same day. - Well things got better real quick lol

well I hate to say it but on the day of my first post (on a munch thread - and the day I joined) I recieved four PMs and had three shags planned within a week. One of those guys is still on the scene so he must have done something right.

Its taken me ages to remember thie answer to this question, mainly cos my first one was from another site But from here, it was abt 3 weeks after advertisning, but you have to remember the site was a lot quieter way back then!!

It took us about 3 weeks to meet our first guy but about 5 mins before we had sex with him :happy: it was an awesome experience :lickface: , but keep trying it does happen when you,re ready :bounce:

Ohhh... Good question.
My first internet meet (which scarily was around seven years ago) took about 18 months, but in my defense I was using a US based talker so it required intercontinental travel (Oh her part! I'm not thatdesperate. Actually I am, I'm just not thatrich...).
Same timescale for first shag obviously. It would have been embarrassing in the extreme if after a 5,000 mile journey we'd find we didn't really fancy each other...
For meet/shag on here, I think it took about 7 weeks: 3 weeks getting little joy via ads, and then 4 much more productive weeks on the Forum.
I've only dared stick my head into the chatroom a couple of times on here, but it seems a little fast-paced and a tough place to break the ice if you don't already know people ahead of time. Hats off to any bloke who got a shag from a standing start in there.
