cider comes in many formats, your standard pub gear, dry,sweet you know the stuff, but a true cider is farmhouse scrumpy, with the bits in the bottom, just a few pints of this true nectar of the gods (apples to you and me) is enough to hit the spot, a bad batch can lay you up for days. but find the right brew and you could end up with a nose redder than rudolfs, get your wellies on and get down the farm, or better still head down to a wurzel shin dig, i rest my case (and i voted yes love it)
Cider's not too bad when half a pint of it is mixed with half a pint of lager and a dash of blackcurrant. It then turns into a snakebite and black. Which is a rather nice drink.
Pity most pubs won't serve it cos too many people get "agressive" on it. And that's a shame as I kinda like the giggles it gives me after I've had a few of them . . . .
