I have been an electrician for many years and do a lot of work in poeples houses. I would just love if some one a lady or cpl would like while i am up my steps someone would put their hand between my legs for some fun. I suppose the most tactful way is to ask them if they often get propositions due to their line of work/ uniform. Gage their reaction and answer. Make sure your body language shows your open/ interested as that may sway them to say something like "not as often as I'd like."
Personally think there's no easy way to broach the subject so indirect may help.

I am a plumber and it did happen to me once whilst I was working under a ladies sink!
Sorry to disapoint you all but it frightened the life out of me!The only thing I could think about was I am in a strange house, on my own with a stranger who may or may not have a psyciatric problem!

I used to deliver and install bedroom furniture. On a number of occasions I had women at home on their own who hadn't quite finished emptying their underwear out of the old furniture ready for the new and would take great pleasure in detaining me whilst they displayed their basques, suspenders etc. On a couple of occasions I made flippant comments like I bet you look good in that and they offered to put it on.
