Death....... the long goodnight........
When you're no longer on this mortal coil.... and have cast off all your cares and troubles by taking the one way trip across the River Styx......... how would you like people to remember you?
Would it be for your words of wisdom???
Your sense of humour???
Your compassion???
Your acts of selflessness???
Your contributions to your community???
Your laugh???
Something else???
What would you like them to say about you when you're no longer here...... ??????

It depends who's doing the remembering. You can't be the same thing to all people. For example, I'd want my children to remember me as a supportive, loving mum; there are people who I would hope would remember me as a sexy, fun-loving woman.
UInless you are famous you are only likely to be remembered for two or three generations.
When I am dead and gone and just a whisper in the wind - that's how I would want to touch the people who may remember me
When I am dead, people will say "I told you so"
i'd just want people to remember me with a smile
Ok, he was right, he was ill.
My Dad has the "I told you I was..............." the old Spike thing, on his grave
I want people to believe that I will come back and haunt them.... I want people to be afraid to go to sleep in case the blue ghoul sneaks into their room and does horrid things to them.... :rascal:
In short.... I WILL NOT REST IN PEACE
:taz:
With a blooby big grin !!
I'm not too bothered about how I will be thought of - what I would prefer is a glorious wake, everyone getting caned ( think of the wake for Mickey's mum in "Snatch" ) and having a fuggin' good time. If they smile and think of me, busting my shite with laughter, even better.
I have even told the wife ( smoking muff ) to mourn me for a reasonable amount of time ( 3 -6 months tops ) then get on with life, and to not be a widow.
