When you're no longer on this mortal coil.... and have cast off all your cares and troubles by taking the one way trip across the River Styx......... how would you like people to remember you?
Would it be for your words of wisdom???
Your sense of humour???
Your compassion???
Your acts of selflessness???
Your contributions to your community???
Your laugh???
Something else???
What would you like them to say about you when you're no longer here...... ??????

It depends who's doing the remembering. You can't be the same thing to all people. For example, I'd want my children to remember me as a supportive, loving mum; there are people who I would hope would remember me as a sexy, fun-loving woman.

I've never really stopped to think about that one.
So off the cuff, without too much thought, I'd say, it doesn't really matter what people think when I'm gone, it matters what I am to people now.
And I'm too many things to too many people to list here lol

I would like to think people would say i was always truthful about everything.
Experienced everything within reach, and made the most of every hour and minute.
I also think people will remember me for having NO patience and analysing mostly everything :shock: Cant help it, i do try confused

Like lots of people have said ............... I don't care how I am remembered or even if I am remembered !

my own mum died almost 20 years ago and there is not a day that passes that i dont think of her...................... so id like to think that when i go that my children will give me a daily thought even if its just a passing one.
And hey if my mum is watching over me i hope its not all the time redface

A good loving tender mother, fiercely loyal friend, sensitive, sexy, fun loving, out going, gentle and someone who others enjoy having around. Id be happy with that lol

Mind you, another other that the girl caught on her best m8s CCTV throwing up would be bonus! :doh:

I'm not too bothered about how I will be thought of - what I would prefer is a glorious wake, everyone getting caned ( think of the wake for Mickey's mum in "Snatch" ) and having a fuggin' good time. If they smile and think of me, busting my shite with laughter, even better.
I have even told the wife ( smoking muff ) to mourn me for a reasonable amount of time ( 3 -6 months tops ) then get on with life, and to not be a widow.

If I remember correctly, Spike Milligan's family were only able to put that on his grave after translating it into Irish Gaelic, but he did get his way after a fashion,which is I suppose the important thing.

Not that I worry too much about that either.....I am who I am and they have to either accept that or not....
