It's the ears that do it for me, they've no control over them and they're sssooo soft. And then there's the smell. Puppies smell lovely, I have been known to go up to complete strangers and ask if I could sniff their puppies. redface
Yep, I know. Ya don't have to tell me.

Congratulations on ur new addition - i too have a German Shepherd called Max. Hes a brilliant dog and fantastic company. Love him to bits, unconditional love from a dog with no complications.
Have fun together
Suze xx
I am a cat lady ( do like a bit of pussy) and they always seem to come in pairs. At the moment I have a black one and a tortise shell/white one.
The kids took so long in deciding names for them they are now called - the black one and the other one .
congrates on your new addition though, he's adorable.

Ours are very similar wake only to feed, get a few hugs then slip off for more sleep,
greyhounds get a real bed rep but are actually very placid and friendley and make great pets.
Goose your Lab looks dead cute and seems to suit the name

My Sister has a retired racing Greyhound from Monmore Green. Just sleeps most of the day on her cushion.
After some weeks of negotiations with Battersea - I just picked up my cat today cool Did consider a dog but ruled it out as I don't think I'm around enough to care for it properly, take it for walks etc etc ... cats are a bit more independant and self sufficient though still a big responsibilty. Got to say, they are pretty damn strict about whether or not they'll let you take one of their cats and the fact that I'm out at work weekdays and intending to let the cat out for the daytime was a bit of a sticking point for them even though I was getting a cat cabin for it.
Early days but he seems to be settling in ok, though I've picked up a couple scratches already! !
