Iam in the same situation hun, been with my GF nearly 3 years done everything together she was my sole mate never cheated thought she was the 1 etc etc over the last few weeks she turned nasty though Just not the girl I know then last week we finished it and i feel so gutted dont know what I'm going todo with myself. I dread weekends its going to be soo lonley, I have friends but they all have Girlfriends or wives.
Meeting up with her tonight i know its 100% over but just seeing if we can keep a friend-ship but if she stays as she was I dont think I even want to be friends with her.
Thinking of getting a weekend job or something just to pass the time :cry:
Oh and I know about the pain, I have felt sick for a week now and last night I got 2 hours sleep.

I know exactly how you feel. Having just reached the other side of the pain and anguish I can reassure you that it does get better, even though it doesn't seem anything like it. If you get on with her as a mate then it might be a good thing, but every situation's different.
As for the weekends, go visit family, friends etc. I took up Kung Fu and the gym to keep me occupied in the evenings and have only been at home for 3 weekends since I split.
But now the world is your oyster, plenty more fish in the sea and all those piscine analogies. You're free, single and have all the time to do what you've always wanted to. Plus you'll always find someone on here with a sympathetic ear and a word of encouragement.
