However stereotypical it may be……………..
I sit here tonight with a rather nice glass of 12 year old Speyside malt…..mmmmmmmm
This delight has followed on from an exceptionally good plate of HAGGIS for my supper.
(I’ve just spent two days in a foreign country and was obviously feeling all nostalgic when I came home!!)
Now for those of you who don’t know MY National dish, this traditional fayre is NOT for vegetarians.
LadyFeeBee on reading the ingredients showing the majority as 44 % Lambs lungs :small-print: had to fight the urge to be sick at the thought!!!!!!
Conversation followed with her extolling the virtues of being a vegetarian when I suddenly remembered……………
off to the bathroom cabinet, I return, beaming, with tin of shaving foam in hand
“Look†says I, holding aloft said can, “Proof positive that a vegetarian way of life is !!â€
Perplexed, she gazes at me with a kind of ‘I didn’t think Mad Cow Disease could kick in quite so quickly’ look on her face
“Your point?†she asks
And so I show her. On the side of the tin. In HUGE bold letters
Suitable for vegetarians
lot will eat anything
So come on...........what wouldn't you put in your mouth???? (and WHAT do vegetarians eat shaving foam with )
