Well here a SiGo towers there is a foul mood in the air :taz: .I seem to be in the worst mood imaginable for nigh on three days now and I can't seem to get out of it.I considered knocking somebody off their moped but felt was a little too strong and selfish.
So what do you do to get yourself out of the stinker I'm in? :confused2:
Well as it's such a lovely day - get yourself out into the countryside and have a long walk to blow the cobwebs away - always works for me! Mind you I rarely get into bad moods. I feel down occasionally and a good walk always helps then.
Mrs Peel
I usually stick some feel good musoc into my mini disc and go for a good run, get up a good sweat then a lukewarm shower.
Think about all the bad thing's in life and then all the good thing's life has given you, there are so many people always worse off.
Get into the gfz from the weekend, if the comments on there don't cheer you up, there's no hope!! smile :) As MrsFC keeps telling me life's too short to be miserable.
Write yourself a list...one side all you have...house, job/money in bank/car/mates/ and keep it going until you cannot find any more positives...then look and write down the alterates you could have...no job/no car/no home etc. It makes you really think? When i feel really low and crap, i look at those who have nothing, and some never complain, and get on with it. We forget sometimes we ARE really privaliged, and a simple thing like fresh water in our homes in a tap, is something many people dream about....
Pull yer socks up mate, you are just in the blues....ben their, got the T-shirt...aint we all?
I usually watch a feel good movie......I have certain films that just generally make me feel like living again.....things like (bearing in mind I'm a woman and I can't help being soppy!) The Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, Crossroads (yes, I like Britney Spears redface ), Shawshank Redemption, Love Actually.....
Chin up babe....it always gets better.
Do you know Helen you are the only person I have ever come across who has watched crossroads-that sort of cheered me up!
I think I'm missing somebody sad
Forrest Gump does it for me. many fail to see the story, just watch and laugh. Behind the front is a very moving story of love, both of his life, his fellow man and his values. Some films are so deep, the average pundit NEVER gets them. Look, watch, take note.....the world is full of awe and beauty, and if you can see it, you are truely blessed, more than many ever do....

For me, it's my dog. No matter what kind of day I've had, when I walk in through the door, he's ecstatic to see me. When I pick up his lead to go for a walk, he goes crazy with excitement, and when we're out on one of our regular marathon treks, all life's worries fade away. His total and unconditional love for me is a breath of fresh air.

How can a day that starts of so well turn into a nightmare in, well lets say, the last 60 seconds. I scored a left footed volley earlier on, it was amazing, but now that means diddly squat.
I need a very big ............... white russian.
Having an absolute bitch of a day. Everything that could possibly go wrong so far has. Not to mention quite a few things that couldn't have possibly gone wrong but did! mad :x
I am now in a disgustingly filthy mood and all the staff are avoiding me!
Sorry - but I had to get that off my chest.

Will,
What you need are a few choice aphorisms: a nice bit of folksy philosophy..they always cheer me up, honest:
'Nothing is as bad as it seems'.....seems to whom you moronic tw*ts; I'm the one facing the problems.
'You've still got your health'.....oh yeah, for how much f*cki*ng longer??
'Tomorrow is another day'....well, boogaloo; ten out of ten for observation...and yeah, great, another day of e-mail overload, some prat from accounts nicking your car parking space, the temp forgetting to post your urgent mail, a team -meeting lasting six weeks and Bill Gates' 'wonder programmes' crashing every ten minutes.
'Worse things happen at sea'......excuse me, I'm as far inland as it is possible to be, the only waves coming at me consist of deadlines and the only 'buoy' in site is the 'Graduate Trainee' who's just been promoted above me.
'When you are seventy you'll look back and think, 'why did I worry?'.....I won't get to seventy, in fact, I doubt if I'll make lunchtime, until then , I'm worried. OK?.
'Let it all wash over you'.......right, had ancestors at Pompeii did you, dickbrain?
'It's only a job'...............it's only my house, car, pension and f*****g livlihood too!
'Something will turn up'.....yeah, my toes!
'Try 'anger management'.......it's the bl***y management that's caused my anger!
'There's always someone who feels worse than you do'.....ok, find this one legged, pain-wracked, leprosy ridden, paranoid, self- mutilating, dehydrated, malnourished, terminally ill, mentally challenged, maladjusted, socially inept, physically abused and spiritually impoverished individual and I'll borrow his copy of 'The Sun; until then...SHUT F****** UP!!
well.....when i'm not feeling too good, maybe a little sad, all the world's against me, I reach for my guitar and start to sing:

"If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" clap! clap!
"If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" clap! clap!
"If you're happy and you know it and you really want to show it, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" clap! clap"
"If you're happy and you know it clap your stamp your feet" stamp! stamp!
In no time at all I feel as happy as pig in s***!!!
It's the simple things......
