Is it snowing where you are.?

Just a quick weather check everybody, thought i'd ask the question as i shall be on irregular shifts this week and wondered what pandimonium on the roads i would have to look forward too. :wary: After last week when the Midlands virtualy ground to a halt because of high winds.

I'm in Bedford and it's clear and bright here. Was quite heavy sleet at around 07:30 this morning though!

No .............. no snow ..................... but it was very icy this morning and....................
I went to clean the car windows with the wipers ........... and one of them stayed stuck to the windscreen
Off to the garage now

Well the sun is shining, it's a bit breezy but other than that it's quite nice dunno

I am not looking forward to the snow though :scared:

We've not long had hail but that is all, as Shireen says, sunny and bright at the moment.
According to the guys in Ians office, there was snow in Leicester this morning dunno

Yeah, no snow in Lincoln either, we had a bit of an attempt at it earlier this morning for all of about 5 minutes, but that's been it.
It is quite breezy but the sun is shining - it's flippin cold though!
Hope it doesn't snow too hard this week, we're off on our hols on Thursday and have got to drive down to Gatwick. :cry:

Obviously I don't want to return to the howling gales of last week but it's so typical that them temperature would plummet now. I'm having all new doors and windows fitted tomorrow - I'm going to bloody freeze! :shock:

Okay take the slightly breezy bit back.... I just went in to the kitchen and looked outside... The felt roof on the shed is hanging off so it's a little more than breezy :lol2:

Sorry for you Kiss, we had that done a couple of years back and it was mid winter and snowing. We ended up leaving the guy's working and going to the inlaws for a few hours.

I think it was rather more than just the Midlands that suffered dangerously high winds..
Perhaps so, but when it took me from to to travel 35 miles it seemed that the Midlands was my particular place in hell.

Well it was when i left the house to go to the post office, so i just put a fleece on. Just as i walked back to the car got pelted with driving sleet/hail/snow and frooze my ass off.
Now i'm back home it's back to sunshine :taz:

Why do we always have heating and windows replaced when its fecking cold out side dunno

ive done this far too many times now and always vow after each time..... next time im gonna book the work in the summer but never do.

We lurve the snow! :bounce: It's an arse here though as the only way into & out of the village is a steep hill, and then open fields so we're usually the first to get snowed in!
But where there's snow, theres snowballs & sledging & snowmen :bounce:
I suppose we're lucky as we have the necessary gear up in the loft- salopettes & skis included!
