Is it ugly??

It is a huge issue for my wife, she hates them and thinks they are gross. I do not even notice them and despite everything I say it makes not a jot of difference to her view I do despair on occasions

Honestly?
I have absolutely no issue with them at all...all part of life, and life's to short to be shallow.

Nothing wrong with stretch marks, there just a sign of life and nothing to be worried about..
I myself wouldn't be put of at all by a woman having stretch marks smile

My wife has inumerable strech marks from our kids, she hates them and I can understand. I just dont notice them. They do not jump out and say here we are. You cant get rid of them but if they are new they will calm down with the redness dissipate. What you can do to help is massage with baby oil to reduce the redness and soften the skin

I have them and I guess other people do aswell, but do they put you off? I mean I would feel uncomfatable other people seeing them, so what about you guys?

Why dont celebs get them then??? Its not fair

I got a few but its 4 years i since i had my son and there about faded now smile

I am 9 1/2 stone now but used to be over 16 stone so i think that may of helped?
I think the celebs have just got the money to pay for everything they need not to get them like the oils and not to forget the herd of makeup artist's that follow them about lol

Oh and btw PrincessSwallows.. that pic of the cute rabbit, sure you didn't pinch that of me, its identical to mine :shock:

Hey swallows,
I got them when i had some surgery, in my opinion - if the person youre with, or trying to attract sees them as an issue, you have found a person who is superficial. Your pic looks lovely so I would not worry - be yourself and the genuine guys wont see them as a prob

i bloody hate mine, but i hate everything about my belly really after 3 kids, 1 being a section, it looks like a flabby version of the london underground i only need to trace the stretch marks in red n blue

as a man perspective - i have no problem with them.
yes they are not pretty, but then some people have big noses, flabby bellies or cellulite legs - it's all part of being different.
and variety is the spice of life.

Babies and stretch marks go together - you can't have one without the other, unless you are a celeb and can 'airbrush' all your pics :shock:
I have had four children and have the marks for each of them , I wear them with pride and don't worry about them at all - they are as much a part of me as my children are.
I would not be without them.

No Princess, they are not ugly and you are probably the only one who really notices you have them.
Its all about confidence - you should have bags of that judging by your avatar. You are lovely just as you are.

stretch marks......... show you've had some living (and lovin), they are part of you and show that you are real............... who wants some old bird that's spent zillions on her appearance... nah give me a real lady anyday

Stretch marks are a fact of life. Most men wouldn't really notice them due to their location near the jackpot lol

As for your hubby, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and love makes us blind (I mean that in a good way :rose: )

well it seems that mostly everyone that has them, hates them,,,,,,,,,,,,, sad

which I don't personally understand.
You are what you are, marks, scars, stretch marks, iny/outy belly button etc....
if someone makes a judgement on you simply because of that,,,,,,,,,,,,sorry but he/she is a turd :P
we are all far from perfect and I would hope that some one could see through my imperfections as much as I could see through theirs............if an imperfection is a mark :shock:
