Hornyred has been in hospital today , (minor op,,shes fine ta smile

) We had a little jokey chat before she went in and i asked her what song would she like at her funeral . She said Clannad , but she`s not sure what its called confused

Red may be thinking of Harrys Game by Clannad i think, althought they have many tracks, this is their most well known.
I adore Enya, think ill have something by her played at mine, either Watermark, Boadicea or the track from LA Story, the name of which escapes me confused

Yep. I t has to be Comfortably Numb for me as well. Seems to be a popular choice.
What do ya think of that Scissor Sisters version though? When I first heard it I thought WTF is that!!? Sacrilige! But it kinda grows on you... like piles. wink

Or perhaps MY Way by the Sex Pistols just to give everybody a kick up the arse and stop em being miserable. I think a funeral should be a celebration of life not everybody standing around feelin sorry for themselves.
At my Grans funeral we played Its Not Unusual by Tom Jones (ooh she loved him) It brought a smile to everyones face and brought back good memories of her. I even had a little chuckle.
