Here's the deal..... are you fed up with your job?
Would you swap your job for something more fun(stupid question)
I work in a military background but would love to be in a west end musical production  If you could start again what would you want to do? confused
I always wanted to sing with a rock band lol
Well I have just had a complete career change and am retraining in a job I absolutely love.
But, after watching Bugsy Malone as a kid, I did go through a phase of wanting to be a gangster's moll!! Talullah was just sooooo cool... so I'd give that a go lol
I swapped 23 years in an office for a job as a singer - it's the best job ever lol
I would love to be a scientist. And if I was as gutsy as I am now ..............then.....my head would be filled with other things than numbers wink
I am an accountant about to be made redundant ...I am treating it as an opportunity to try something completely different .....what, well I don't know yet. rolleyes I would love to be self employed or once ....I may try learning new skills like plastering or bricklaying ...or work in a pub for the social interaction...or I would love to be a company doctor and put my years of experience to good use.
Who knows where I will end up ...exciting isn't it, or just plain scary.
Ice cream taster lol

I was employed as a Scientist for two years, it was the most boring job I've ever had, I've been pondering and thinking about what would be best for you MrsFC, for a while following the science theme, I was leaning towards rocket scientist, big pointy things and all that, but then I thought all those numbers, MrsFC would get fecked off in no time.
Then it came to me, a monty python flashback, you should be a lumberjack smile
i often wish that we had computers when i was at school.
the things i`m interested in now have little in common with when i was a teenager, but i think every generation can look back and say what if. from a scientific background that bored me rigid (at one time i thought that if i saw another test tube someone was going to get an unwanted insertion)i`ve been self employed for 30 yrs,but would have loved to work in areas that fascinate me now, like astronomy ,which was never mentioned in school, even though it was a grammar school.i hope that these days career advice is more than
1 hour at the end of your last term.
I'd give up nursing to be the official masseuse to the Wales Rugby Team ( or any other team who wants me )
I would like to sing opera, head the bill in Vienna. Fantastic!
I would become a forestry ranger or zoologist what an awesome job that would be for me!!
I now have job i love but if retraining and expense/time were no option those would be the two top candidates!!
I would love to be a fashion buyer... specialising in expensive shoes lol Presuming that they get freebies, samples and maybe discount....
I LOVE MY JOB (Most of the time)
I'm lucky in that most of the time I like/love my job its almost 100% stress free, is as easy as putting one foot in front of the other and I get to meet lots of interesting people every day and have built a strong relationship with most of them... I'm just an average Postman 1 of 130,000 of us, but I go that extra mile to help my customers, even to the point of dressing as Santa at Christmas for the children.
So after working in an office for 8 years I dropped a large amount in wages, but at the same time I got rid of all that wasted time commuting, office politic's and hassle..
The Negatives are I get caught in the rain sometimes, dogs hate me, poor/fair wages for a job you could train a Chimp to do.
The Positives are I have no traffic commuting, I'm home by lunch or earlier (job n knock), I stay partly fit, I spend more time in the sun then getting wet (it really doesnt rain as often as I thought it did when I worked in the office), my customers actually want to speak, feed and water me and I'm my own boss outside the sorting office. Not to mention I dont have to pay for my clothing or footwear.
I think it was Confucius that quoted "Find a job you love and never work a day in your life"
I would love the opportunity to train and be a midwife redface
I change my career every few years or so as I get bored. Having said that I have been doing the current thing for the last 10 years, being one of the two people running Hedonism UK Swingers club. Now that has to be the best job in the world!
biggrin :D :D :D :D

Dad's army, the musical?
I have a rather excellent job, it just started getting really fantastic and they've run out of funding rolleyes
I'm planning on swapping it for one over the road where they've just bought a new system that thats just
worship :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: and they need someone to run it

Ladies- go for it! I did the access course a few years ago, and had an utterly amazing time. It changed me as a person, I met my best mate there & that bought me a whole host of other connections.
There were several people who went on to midwifery, and they were the ones who loved their degrees. Despite being top of the class (trumpet, what trumpet?)- I was the only person in the year who turned down their uni offer......typical me! rotflmao
My trouble is there are too many things i'd like to do and not enough time!!
I work in buying at the moment but would love to do any one of the following;
Psychologist
Artist
Sing in a rock band
Photographer
Actress
Events manager (almost got there but the company was horrible)
Is that a lot??
some more realistic than others me thinks!
Mrs Classy
dunno
Althought Ive absolutely loved what Ive been doing for the last 18 yrs. I now have the opportunity to change careers. An im totally stuck as to what.
If I could I would go to Uni and study *hot glass* but the universities that do it are too far away, plus be hard for me to a get a place at my age anyway. Im happy and lucky enough to be able to do it as a hobby biggrin Still need a job tho to fund my addiction confused :?

I'd want to be a kept man, a house husband.
That way I could watch Trisha, Jeremy Kyle and all those other wonderful daytime tv programmes that I miss while I'm at work during the day.
Oh and I could also spend plenty of time with my geeky, nerdy hobbies that I neglect far too much.
