This is not a dig at anyone, I just can't see the attraction.

I suppose people watch it for the same reasons they watch soaps. It's that sense of voyeurism, being able to eavesdrop on other people's lives. What makes BB so popular is that the sense of voyeurism is increased because the people they're watching are real and not just actors playing roles.

Yeah, I really dig the Kitten. As she is trying to mash the system instead of being an puppet for Channel 4 or part of the collective :borg: One for the Star Trek peeps :idea:
Anyway am fed up with all this reality T.V with people that will do anything for fame am sure that even Kitten would be made up with the V.I.P lifestyle that am sure she will get over the next 12 months but at what cost confused

At the end of it no matter how hard Channel 4 try they will never beat the people that were on the first Big Brother as it was fresh, Davina McCall was cool & the people were whats the word....erm interesting. lol

Now that T.V is overload with these type of shows the people on them know what to do & have an angle / gameplan. Also the editing is quite suspect as eviticed contestants from "Hell's Kitchen" { I.T.V } have said that Edwina Curry is not that bad.
I do watch these shows but its like the modern version of the Freak Show, made to give the feeling of "..thank God am not like that, even if am Overweight, No Money, Ordinary..."
It just sums up the world that is 2004, like it or not ohhh... & Kitten to win.

i watched BB for the first time tonight.. i sooooooooo reckon i should have gone on it! biggrin

i would have brought a bit of excitement to the place, and just think-
the newspapers would not have to offer vast sums of cash to ex-boyfriends to out me.. they could have just looked at my web pages! lol

Slightly off topic, but...
When I was swinging with my ex we always thought it would have been cool to have been on fantasy island (I think it was called) where the couples are split up and then fed titbits to make them jealous of the other half so they would play arround themselves....
Can you imagine a swinging couple on that, saying "cor looks like she/he's having fun... do you have a longer version so I can watch them shag cos that always turns me on"

Back on subject, I have to agree... spoilt rich kid doing the whole eco warrior rebelious shit... before they get thier inheritance, or told to buck up or they are out of the will, lol.
It was quite funny when she didnt get her case... talk about sulking like a lil brat, she was not amused despite being such a rebel, heck if it had been me I would have staged a naked protest for the rest of the series, that would have put a spanner in the works for the early shows :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

(was going to go into a big stressing few mins)infact.. i cant be arsed to go into it!.. she really fucks me off!! ..so narrow minded!. .... Cant agree to disagree.... Has to force her point on to others...She signs up to the whole BB deal and then gets all funny with the rules!!.. ..if it was up to people like her this country would be a lot worse then what she thinks it is now. ARGH!!!... She thinks sticking up her fingers and swearing means she has the intelligence to come out with such Fucked up views!.. So naive(or however ya spell it..god and theres me talking intelligence) ha ha
Personaly i think that the blonde girl(dont know her name).. the one that licked chocolate off that girls lips(which i must admit did get me hot) is so sexy.

Thats the problem with reality TV, its naff... but somehow adictive!
Arrrr well, I can stop watchin it now... till the final episode, lol
