Hey I did well this year. I watched a whole 20 mins of big brother before I switched it off (that does include 2x 3 min comercial breaks though).
Yes Kitten is a P.I.T.A (pain in the ass), but she ain't the only one. Take Victor for example, anyone want to spot the guy who was bullied at school? He's so overcompensating for a lack of ego it's almost too funny. Man that guy gives black men a bad name. And that girl from Manchester....all I can say is that I'm moving to Grantham, 'cos I don't want to be in any way associated with her.
I really do think that they're taking trying to manipulate the housemates (by adding the new fridge with alcohol) too far.
C'mon guys, there's been plenty in the media about them wanting a couple to hump

on camera, but putting the booze cabinet in just makes it a certanty.
It's nothing more than a comercial exercise in mass media hype now. mad

I can honestly say I haven't watched any of the BB episodes since the second week of the first series!
I detest this cheap alternative to real drama where more than a bit of thought, imagination and intelligence is required of the producers. BB requires little more than the intelligence of an amoeba to produce/view.
BB and most of these so called 'reality' shows are just dross!
I've not had the best of days - can you tell?

I did watch some of the 3rd (???????) one because I'd started my OU degree in psychology and thought I might be able to observe something about human behaviour.
All saw was a bunch of human animals performing behind a glass screen for the entertainment of the masses. I'd have learnt more if I'd have visited the zoo.
I watched the start this year in the vain hope that it might have tried to follow the BBCs example when they re-created the Zimbardo experiment.
Ah well there's always next year rolleyes

Big Brother is a program produced by Channel 4 where 6 men & 6 women live in a house together whilst being under 24 hour surveillance by 'Big Brother' and the viewing public.
'Big Brother' controls what they do and they have to perform various challenges each week where they gamble a proportion of next week's food budget on the outcome.
Each week, the public get to vote on the housemates who get the most nominations from the other housemates. The one with the most votes gets evicted.

Don't tell anyone, but I love Big Brother!!! Even when I hate it, I enjoy hating it!! Every year I say "Right, I'm not going to watch it this year" and then every year I end up being hooked on it!! :shock: :shock: confused

I agree with you, Misschief - watching Kitten is beginning to feel like what it must have felt like in historical times, going to watch the "lunatics" in Bedlam. Veeeery uncomfortable viewing - I think she should be removed from the house for her own good.

I don't watch television as there is very little, if anything, of interest on it.
I haven't watched television in my house for about 5 years and, in fact, no longer have an aerial or a TV licence. This seriously pisses off the TV licencing people :lol: :twisted: . They have difficulty comprehending that someone doesn't watch television.

This begs the question:
  Why would anyone want to watch that?
I mean with so many other interesting things to do, people to meet, activities, food to eat etc. etc. Why would anyone want to watch a bunch of people in a series of contrived situations?
This is not a dig at anyone, I just can't see the attraction.

well i pop away from the thread for a couple of days thinking no one will reply and seems BB is more popular than ever, if only for folks saying they dont watch it :-)
KITTEN WOULD DEFINATLEY GET A SEEING TO FROM THIS POSTER, it would give me great pleasure popping one in her mouth just to shut her up, and btw i agree it is Jarvis Cocker in drag.
