we have just gone on webcam to say hi to a few freinds and one of our cats decided to join us, she is heavely pregnant btw, well her waters broke about twenty mins ago and she is now starting to push as i type kitten one is being born on sh web cam

we lost kitten five too, this is turning into a nightmare for us , seems silly posting now, it should have been all happiness and we wanted to share it with you especially cos she chose to come on cam and say hi to everyone , ive held a dead kitten tonight , while i tried to save it, ive never done that before , i felt useless, Rose knows what she is doing and she couldnt do any more for the little uns,
still we currently have three gorgous new additions to the farm , they all for now seem happy with their mum, im a snivvling wreck and dont want to go to sleep just in case lilly has some more babies and needs som e help from us ,

That is really sad that you have lost a few, we took a stray in that had kittens and she had 5. We kept one and found good homes for the rest.
It is exciting when they give birth and even more fun as they start to grow up. lol

Hi Shaz,
Don't know if you've had them b4, but your house will be mad in a few weeks. But so much fun.
I took a kitten in 5 years ago, only 6 months old, then she started to put on weight.
Yep, she was up the duff. Turns out it was her father that had been at it.
She had 2 kittens within about 40 mins, bit of a struggle as she was and still is tiny.
Looked in on them b4 going to bed about 2 hours later, they were fine.
Next morning there were 3 of them, when the other was born I've no idea.
Afriend had 1 and I kept 2 of them. All 3 of them are a bit loopy, down to I reckon surprised

The mother absolutely hates them now.
Sorry about the 2 that didn't make it. xx

well that was a long night, we thought we would wake to see three or four more , she usualy has seven or eight, never had one die before, let alone two, thats a worry, still she has more milk than the kitttens will need so they will have a very good start in life, shes here at the side of the bed licking and loving her babies she hasnt moved all night as far as we know, except the short flight wrapped in towels off our bed and down beside it.

it was so strange last night, we never intended for the cat to be on cam but as soon as we switched on she leapt up and joined us on the bed, her waters broke more or less straight away, the rest is history,
those of you familiar with the chatroom will understand it isnt what you usually see, you can tell who is watching you, there were some very hot cams on there last night but still most of the watchers kept flashing over to us to get a kitten update lol

well we are off shopping in brum now so see you later

I came home from work about 1am and nipped into Jo's and what do I see but kitty's being born!!! It was absolutely brilliant.
Thank you and I am soooo sorry about numbers 4 and 5 I hope lilie is coping with the loss as well as the birth.

about two years ago we named a donkey after a certain ex mod on here, "little" mal , some of you may recall, we then named a kitten after well busty babe , just cos she came to see the donkey and wanted smething named after her, the kitten wasnt called well busty babe of course it was wbbs real name ,
we still havent sexed the kittens we have left mum to being mum for now, although she has jumped on the bed twice tonight already
we will take some pics tomorrow, to be honest we are both knackered, mainly due to shopping round brum see other thread lol
anyway thaks for the kind words we will think of names for the little uns soon enough and let you know,

kitten six has just been born, 24 hours late and im afraid dead, we are quite worried about lilly now this has never happened before, having a labour last this long, we really thought it was over last night , maybe its why she jumped on the bed earlier to tell us something is wrong,
