Reason for Leave: Attending a mate's thirtieth birthday party and catching up with many people I haven't seen for years.
Location of Leave: Bristol, and possibly Cardiff on Sunday.

Until (First Day Returning to Posting Duties): Monday 19th September
I realise it is an offence under the Official Swinging Act (1969) to falsely declare I am going on leave with the intention of not returning. I swear I will be back to my posting duties on the date given and will give a full account of my activites for the duration of my leave.

This should be fun, apparently there's going to be a big bunch of live roleplayers and dodgy rockers/goths/punks/hippies who I haven't seen since I got chucked out of uni seven years ago. I'm still looking for something to do/somewhere to stay on Sunday, but I'm sure I'll find something/someone to occupy my time. :twisted:

Thanks, it should be a good laugh.
I don't think a leave application is strictly required (though Sarge may wish to disagree with that statement), but it does let people know you haven't stepped under a bus, gone off in a huff never to return, etc, etc.
